Swollen feet and traveling

in 2nd Trimester
So, my feet have always swollen a little when flying. I'm 20 weeks and have a business trip in one week. When I asked my doctor about it last week, he okayed me to go and said said I keep my feet elevated as much as possible. Well today I woke up and my feet are now swollen for no reason. Should I call my doctor and see if he thinks it's still okay for me to go on my trip?

    You can always call... Buy yourself a pair of compression socks and wear to bed or when you're lounging around and def wear them on a plane

    I think if you are feeling uneasy call the dr or nurse can reassure you and offer suggestions but I second the compression socks they can be really helpful!

    You may also be able to get a prescription for compression socks, get properly fitted and have them covered by your insurance. I have both. I had a prescription when I was pregnant. Those ones that I picked are nylon-y looking (so they look like dress socks, I would wear them all day). I also have varying levels of fancy ones that I bought at sport stores for running. Some of them are nice enough that I wear them to work even now, PP.

    Agreed with the compression socks.  I also used cold wraps to help.  I bought them for my wrist but used for my ankles when they flared up.

    You can get great compression hose on Amazon too. I like the toeless thigh highs better than the socks. If you can't elevate your feet, look up dvt plane exercises on google for good tricks.

    TTC since 3/2011 Adenomyosis, LPD, hypothyroidism. 
    BFP on 7/20/12 after 4 cycles Clomid + IUI 
    2 large subchorionic hematomas & no heartbeat at 7w6d   
    D&E 8/18/12 Sonohysterography found septum and necrotic tissue.   
    Hysteroscopy to remove both 10/5
    IUI #5-7 50mg Clomid + trigger = BFN  
    IUI #8 Femara + Bravelle + HCG + Progesterone = BFP 3/27/13
    Beta 1 (13dpo) = 169  Beta 2 (17dpo) = 1073  No heartbeat at 9w3d. 
    D & C 5/10/13  Triploidy 69 (paternal inherited)
    IVF #1 with ICSI and PGS 11R 8M 5F 2 biopsied/frozen
    PGS results = 1 with trisomy 13 & 1 good embryo for FET 
    FET #1 EV, estrace, nitro patches.  Cancelled due to thin lining
    FET #1.2 oral estrace, f'ing nitro patches and no delestrogen.  Transfer 12/31. BFN
    PAIF/SAIF welcome
    Surprise BFP on 6/13/14  Our only unmedicated bfp ever.
    Beta #1 339  Beta #2 649 44 hour doubling time
