just wondering if we should combine the weekend ticker changes since there's not many for Saturday and Sunday. What do you guys think?

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I'm happy to finally hit the second trimester, I'm definitely starting to show and I'm excited to find out in 6 weeks what we're having!

Questions?

GTKY: Will you be having a traditional baby shower? Or something like a Baby Q (Bbq cookout), or a diaper kegger (come drink as long as you bring diapers)? I actually threw a diaper kegger for a friend last year and it was huge success and a lot of fun. They got tones of diapers and everyone had a great time. I haven't decided if I'm going to do that for our baby yet but I want everyone (boys and girls) to come so I'm thinking of doing a cookout.

I feel like us weekenders get the short end of the stick. Not many people participate and I almost never get my questions answered. I think combining Saturday and Sunday is a good idea!

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? AVOCADO (Yummy)

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I am sleep deprived!! Cannot find a comfortable position to sleep! Tossing and turning an peeing constantly!

Questions? Really how bad is or for the baby if I sleep on my back? coz that's the only position that does not hurt.

GTKY: Will you be having a traditional baby shower? hmm. I have no idea! My mil is planning a big one.. and I don't mind!

@parneetkur I agree with the back dilemma. I highly recommend the snoogle. It helps to keep you on your side. Although I still wake up on my back intentionally sometimes throughout the night. I'm hoping I can stop as my belly gets bigger bc it worries me.

Questions? My anatomy scan isn't until 20w5d. Anyone else having to wait that long? The suspense is killing me! I pray baby cooperates !

GTKY: This is our first and we are having a traditional women only baby shower. DH may throw a diaper party cookout for our male friends since it will be summer but we haven't decided yet.

Weeks: 14! I feel like it took forever to get to the second trimester. I thought I would feel more relaxed at this point, but I just find that I am anticipating the 20 week scan now.

Baby is the size of a lemon

My biggest complaint is round ligament pain when I stand up and sharp pains down my left butt cheek into my thigh. I wonder if this is from my tilted uterus and its pressing on nerves.

No questions this week, just slowly ticking off each day. @ReadyForaB we haven't scheduled our anatomy scan yet because I have to wait for our work schedule to be posted ugh! I have a feeling ours will be more like 21 weeks.

GTKY: We will probably just do a traditional shower and the DH will make an appearance. I asked him if he would be interested in doing a baby bbq and he said no, men don't like going to those kinds of things...that's why men don't have bachelor showers. Well alrighty then!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I am still working on the nausea bit. I have some kind of cold or sickness, which is making me cough. Unfortunately, it makes me gag when I cough too hard.

Lack of sleep because of this coughing (worse when I lay down) is making my fatigue worse. Any bump mammas have similar issues? How did you take care of it?

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Headaches, also suffering with the inability to sleep on my back. I always wake on my back and am so stiff sleeping on my sides.

How many weeks today? 13 weeks yesterday (Saturday).

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? Peach, clownfish!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Getting some energy back, finally. Not 100%, but my afternoons and evenings have been more productive for sure.

Questions? Ok, kind of an embarassing one. For which doctor's appointments should I expect to have a pelvic exam (checking my cervix or whatever)? They did it the first time, so for my second appointment I was prepared and then didn't have to. I just kind of like to know when I'll have to do the full exam so I can, er.. groom a little bit. Because otherwise I am not really messing with that during pregnancy!

It will depend what the host is up for. Ideally, I think I'd like to do the BBQ idea. I have some male cousins who I don't get to see often, so I'd like to do a guys and girls shower rather than a ladies luncheon type deal.

@Snaps816 It's pretty typical to have the pelvic exam at your first so they can do the full screening, etc. You probably won't have another one til late in the third trimester, assuming you're not high risk. The rest will just be measuring your belly, listening to the heartbeat, and answering any questions you might have.
