My baby's hearing seems good. She responds to the tiniest noises easily! BUT...she doesn't turn her head towards the noises. She babbles, coos, talks, and laughs, so I'm not sure why she doesn't turn her head to the sound of a voice or other noise.
I can't offer much in the way of advice, but I would definitely recommend checking with your pedi. At each appt our pedi asks if LO is following us 180 degrees, but I think his question is centered around vision rather than hearing. How old is your LO? Mine is 18 weeks and turns his head toward noise, but sometimes only when it seems to interest him (music, a voice he recognizes, etc.). Good luck!
Oh yea she def follows visually and even startles at the slightest sound. I'm going to bring it up at her next appt in two weeks. Just growing increasingly worried.
I would have thought that's normal at the moment. My son does the same. He can hear but seems to choose when he moves his head. I think babies are still learning or figuring out which direction sound comes from. My baby is 15 weeks today.

I agree. And sometimes his daddy will talk to him and say things my son thinks are funny and my son will smile and react but doesn't turn to see him.
