Anyone else I can commiserate with?
I've always had problems with acne as a teenager. As an adult, I'd have the occasional break out during ovulation or before a period. When I went off BC 4 years ago, I battled acne for 6 months.
Eventually, I got it under control.
Until now. I'm BREAKING OUT LIKE CRAZY.

Especially around the chin area.
I stopped all my acne topicals after I found out I was pregnant.... and last night I just placed an amazon order for the Belli Skincare wash + spot treatment. I'm hoping it works!
For those that are having the same problem, what is helping you deal with this?
Re: Breaking out like a teenager!
I struggled with acne throughout college and a couple years after. It was the painful, cystic type and I was miserable and depressed because of it. Then I decided to get a Mirena IUD and it miraculously went away! I had Mirena taken out last March and I've been waiting for the acne to return, but no sign of it yet.
I know with all these preggo hormones, it's only a matter of time, though. Also, I changed most of my skincare products when I found out I was KU because most of them have salicylic acid. Without that, I'm doomed, for sure.
@CopperBoom86 , maybe you won't break out at all. I've been reading confusing articles online about pregnancy and acne meds. All of them say no to Salicylic and Benzoyl.... but some say yes to glycolic acid, while some say no. I'm so confused. I'm hoping the Belli Skincare (acne meds for pregnant ladies) works.

Until I discovered coconut oil.
Okay I know - an oil + acne skin = disaster but it actually worked! I rinse my face with warm water first, then dry, then get a small (and I mean small pea size amount) of oil and rub it in your hands then rub it all over your face. Take a face cloth and get it nice and hot (as hot as you can take it), ring it out, then place it on your face. While my face is covered, I apply a bit of pressure to the cloth to make sure it really opens up my pores, and once the cloth cools off (15 seconds or so) I remove it, and wipe areas that tend to feel a bit too oily (around my nose mainly). You probably won't even have to pat dry because it will dry up almost instantly and it doesn't leave your face oily or dried out and by the next day your skin will look better.
I only do it once a day, usually at night, and just rinse my face with water in the morning. I find the effects last that I can actually miss a day or two of the routine.
