So much better! I've been at about 70% energy for 2-3 weeks. Last weekend I tried cutting down on the Diclectin which was a bad idea but I think I'll try again next weekend. Nausea seems totally gone. Food aversions are still around but I think some of them have just become habit. I might try chicken again soon but I'm scared!

Rant: I hate my tiny town. We don't want to live here anyway which makes these things harder to tolerate: I tried to go maternity clothes shopping for the first time this pregnancy. With my first we had tiny departments in Target, Walmart, Old Navy and Babies r Us. Now all that's left is Old Navy and Babies r Us I hate Old Navy. Nothing fits me right and they have ZERO work appropriate clothes. Only leggings, jeans, jogging pants and maxi skirts. Babies r Us has a Thyme maternity section but it is minuscule and expensive. I'm talking two kinds of pants and two nice tops. ugh! Rave: I've been feeling so much better that I'm starting to actively work on getting my old self back. I've been feeling hideous lately so I started with some clothes shopping and I've got an appointment for my first real haircut in like two years. I keep getting trims but this time I'm going somewhere new and asking her to make a drastic change. Plus I have TWO girl's nights this week and DH and I are probably celebrating our anniversary this weekend so lots of good company and food this week It's going to be a good one! Oh, and my NT scan is tomorrow so I get to see our blob again!!
GTKY: What do you do to spoil yourself when you need a boost? For me it's all about the hair. I usually change the colour twice a year from summer to winter and I used to keep it in a nice bob. I let it grow out when I was pregnant with my son so it didn't' have to be styled every day but I'm ready to spend a bit more time on it again! I'm almost thirty and I've only had my nails done professionally a few times in my life. I love the look of people who keep their nails up but I just can't stand to commit the time or money.
How are you feeling? Last week I felt all my symptoms more intensely. I still have not thrown up *knocks on wood*
but always have some level of nausea which seems to get intense 2x a day. Still super fatigued but my BBs are becoming

How are you feeling? My nausea is DEFINITELY increasing. My OB gave me Diclegis at my appointment, but it's not safe for nursing (I'm hoping to tandem nurse), so that was upsetting. So, I got some B6, and that seems to be taking most of the edge off, thank goodness!

How are you feeling? Finally feeling a little better. The nausea seems to be gone for the most part. I've been dealing with anxiety more than usual though. It's so weird. It's like when I'm so exhausted I get that anxious feeling and I hate it. It took hours for me to finally fall asleep last night. I don't want to go back to anxiety meds when pregnant (I haven't taken them in years) so I need to talk to my MFM about it when I go back in a week.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I think a lot of my underlying anxiety is from my amnio coming up in about 3.5 weeks. I just want to fast-forward a month and be past this part!

How are you feeling? Almost back to normal again. The past few days between the weather and hormones I have been oddly giddy.

I'm meeting with HR this week to get info on maternity leave at my job, and then I'll tell my boss. Im a combination of nervous and excited about the people here finally finding out.
GTKY: What do you do to spoil yourself when you need a boost? Eat food. The unhealthy check in thread is amazing for ideas. I feel so much better when I can choose something to eat and stick with it, ie still sounds good by the time Im finished.
@0SeaMonkey0:- I feel exactly the same way about chicken. I cooked it for Sunday dinner a few weeks back and had an aversion to it ever since. I can eat it on pizza or in a salad but chicken legs/wings or anything else like that and I hate the thought of it. Not sure when I'll be brave enough to try it again or cook it lol

How are you feeling? Today I'm tired but ok. Yesterday I was so nauseous that I was in tears and could not concentrate on anything all day. It didn't let up until I finally threw up at 10pm. I'm hoping that as I near the end of the first tri, those days will diminish.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I don't think I'm going to be able to get NIPT testing paid for so I'm going to get NT testing which is covered. I'm annoyed because NIPT testing seems easier to interpret to me and I was looking forward to finding out the sex of my baby early. However, I'm trying to take it in stride since I will get an extra chance to see my little one.

I'm feeling okay. I still have morning sickness and I puke about 5 times a week. I have been suffering from insomnia too which is so annoying! Though that is probably because my shifts keep changing and are occasionally overnight. Overall though I'm not complaining. I feel better than I did with #1.
random: I saw baby move his/her arms and legs today on the ultrasound. Swoon! Also, I told my girls (ages 4.5 and 2.5) and they have been adorably excited. They keep kissing my stomach and talking to the baby. Double swoon!
GTKY: I boost my mood with chocolate chip cookie. Bought a cup of them from ABP after a long clinic today.

How are you feeling? Sooo tired. I've been falling asleep every day after work which messes with my sleep overnight but I just can't stay awake. And I'm freezing all the time!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Besides fatigue and chills everything has been great! Just waiting for our CVS March 1st. We're starting to tell family in case the genetic testing results are bad - my family is a great support system BUT I have tons of sisters so all the announcement phone calls are exhausting!
