Re: weekly health & fitness check-in (2/22)

  • Fitness goal? Gym 5 times a week

Health goal? Just keep eating healthy! Nausea started setting in yesterday so that's going to be hard.

Challenges you’re facing this week? Just starting to get nauseous which makes me not want to eat anything.

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life? Who would play your SO? Julia Roberts and Chris Evans

  • Fitness goal? I actually haven’t set any fitness goals for myself this week because of my answers to the next two questions. If I can get a walk in every day that would be good.

Health goal? Nausea has officially hit (as of yesterday) so any protein, fruits, and vegetables I can actually choke down I will consider a win. Also, I will continue to try to increase my water consumption however I am on the “water tastes gross” train.

Challenges you’re facing this week? I have a busy week at work, two full days of “team building and brainstorming sessions” which will interfere with my normal Monday yoga and Tuesday kickboxing routine. In addition, I am hosting a bridal shower on Saturday and am scrambling to get ready for that.

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life? Who would play your SO?

    Jennifer Lawrence, hands down.

For SO: based off his goofy personality, Will Ferrell. Based off his looks, Daniel Craig.

  • Fitness goal?
Keep up with my trainer (once a week), walking or swimming a few times a week and the workouts he gives me

    Health goal?
Eating healthy.  I was watching calories but I am not going to do that now that I am pregnant.  I had major food aversions last pregnancy and it controlled my eating, but I would like to just make overall better choices in the food

    Challenges you’re facing this week?
Tomorrow is my first time with my trainer since finding out I am pregnant.  I told him so that he can adjust my work out.

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life? Who would play your SO?
    Liv Tyler and Chris Pratt

Fitness goal? Just keeping up with my regular routine: Monday- Zumba, Thursday- Spin and Yoga, and walking or jogging every other day.

Health goal? I'm feeling like I need a pregnancy diet plan to follow, so my goal this week is to find one I can stick to and implement it.

Challenges you’re facing this week? None come to mind

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life? Who would play your SO? Me- Christina Hendricks. I'm a curvy size 14 with red hair. DH- Vince Vaughn. He's 6'4" with the same build, same hair color, and same goofy personality as Vince Vaughn.

Weekly Bumpie Challenge: Take a 10 minute walking break every day this week. This one will be easy for me. I take four 10 minute walk breaks every day at work.

  • Fitness goal? To continue getting to the gym 4-5 days a week for cardio and aqua bootcamp. I'm also seeing my trainer this week too. First time since learning it was BFP. He has a mommy-to-be program that we will do.

Health goal? Luckily I haven't had too much nausea, so my diet and healthy eating hasn't been altered too much yet. Hopefully it'll stay this way. But if not I'll adjust. And I'm really making sure to drink plenty of water.

Challenges you’re facing this week? Just want to get more rest and sleep better at night. I'm starting to get used to the idea that I'm pregnant so hopefully my nerves will continue to subside.

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life? Who would play your SO? I would have to say Sandra Bullock (love her!) and for my SO I would have to go with Mark Walhberg.

    IT'S A BOY!!!

  • Fitness goal? I have been so sick this entire pregnancy so far that just the thought of a downward dog made me dizzy. I'd really like to get back into yoga if the nausea and dizziness stay in the morning, so I can workout in the afternoon.

Health goal? I just want to be able to stay as healthy as possible. I'm really hoping that 2nd tri treats me better than the first.

Challenges you’re facing this week? sickness, bloating, aversions, fatigue... makes fitness kinda unappealing.

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life? Who would play your SO? I would love Amy Adams to play me. SO... can I just pick Chris Pine, even though he looks and acts nothing like him?

  • Fitness goal? yoga everyday. Class or at home.

Health goal? get over this damn virus that has been plaguing me since 2/1! First it was a cold, then I lost my voice. Now I have swollen glands and monstrous cold sores.

Challenges you’re facing this week? taking the bar exam tomorrow and Wednesday. Nothing like extreme stress to aggravate pregnancy symptoms.

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life? Who would play your SO? Anne Hathaway for me and Allen Leech for my husband. So many freckles...

  • Fitness goal: Find out if it's okay to keep up my routine with some modifications/less intensity. It's a bit of cardio/strength/boot camp 3 times a week, plus yoga at least once a week. Trainer says yes, and most articles do too, but as an Old Mom, I want confirmation from my doc. Until then, sticking to jogging 30 mins 3 days a week, strength class, and yoga.

Health goal: Eat nutritious foods, despite wanting to vomit at the very thought of vegetables. Plan b: supplement the bland carby foods that I can handle with a protein shake.

Challenges: Nausea, just about all foods that are actually good for me sound horrible, and I'm sleeeeeepy.

GTKY: Haha, I don't even know. I'm just going to be 100% superficial and say Krysten Ritter and Benedict Cumberbatch because they're pretty.

  • Fitness goal?gym 3-5 days this week

    Health goal? Eat healthy

Challenges you’re facing this week?food adversions

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life? Who would play your SO? Debra Messing and Dermot Mulroney

  • Fitness goal? To continue trying to be active once a day for 30 minutes minimum.

Health  goal?  To get back on track with healthy eating and make sure I drink enough water. I've been  really slacking on my water intake.

Challenges  you're  facing  this week?  some pretty intense nausea and lack of motivation/ fatigue.

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life? Who would play your SO?
Ooh I don't know!  The girl from the hunger games and for my so... I have no clue. I honestly have  watched 3 movies in the last year, so my knowledge  of actors is limited
  • Fitness goal? Make it to 3 classpass workouts this week.  I have TRX scheduled tomorrow, Pilates on Friday, but I can't do my usual Sunday workout because I'll be out of town. :/  I'll probably go for a long walk with SO on Wednesday evening, and go to my regular tap class on Thursday evening.  **I don't know how I'll look for my tap recital in June in a size small costume and a belly**

Health  goal?  Just to continue working out 3x a week throughout the pregnancy.

Challenges  you're  facing  this week?  Finding the time to go, but also wanting to be lazy and not go.

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life? Who would play your SO?
Not really sure about this one.  I don't know who'd play me, but I'd like Eric Bana to play SO. :)
  • Fitness goal? Getting more walking in. I've given up on true exercise until I get my energy back.

Health goal? Continue with the healthy eating.

Challenges you’re facing this week? Anxiety is causing chest pain again - I know getting more physical activity would help with it, but I'm just too tired. It's all I can do to make it home from work most days.

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life? Who would play your SO? Me: Morena Baccarin DH: Zachary Levi or Adam Levine

Try to keep up my pre-pregnancy workout routine as much as possible. That looks like weight/strength training 3x/week, 1-2 aerial silks classes and 1 spin class if I am up to it.

      Health Goal:
I just lost 10 lbs before finding out about the pregnancy...my goal had been 20 lbs. Obviously this has now changed but I am hoping to keep my weight gain in the healthy range and continue to eat healthfully.

      Challenges  you're  facing  this week?
I have been having trouble sleeping:(

GTKY: Who would you want to play you in a movie about your life? Who would play your SO?
Not sure, people say i look like the actress who.plays Peggy on Mad Men. For my SO, Ryan Reynolds or Channing Tatum...though SO looks nothing like either!
