Okay so...
Monday the 7th: HEAVY amount of bleeding. Went to my OB, he heard the hr via doppler and checked my cervix. He said everything looked good so he sent me home.
Wednesday the 8th: Clotting starts and still spotting. Call my OB and he says as long as its brown I'm fine.
Monday the 15th: Excruciating back pain and continue to spot.
Wednesday the 17th: sharp cramping. Call my OB but, no one is in the office. On call OB says I can either go to ER or wait til morning. I had bought a home doppler so I found the HR and decided to take it easy and rest.
Saturday: I go to get my hair done. Sharp cramping is back and spotting goes from brown to dark red. I decide to go to the ER.
RESULTS?
Large Subchorionic Hemorrhage.
Im told because I'm still so early it's a 50/50 shot ill either continue to carry or miscarry :-(
Pelic rest
Bed rest
Call my OB Monday
I'm so lost and feel helpless. Baby looks perfect and grear on ultrasound but, this hemorrhage has me so lost.

Re: Subchorionic Hemorrhage **TRIGGER**
Im just all kinds of emotional right now.
My hubby is being as supportive aa humanly possible but, he works nights and is on a form of chemo for ulcerative colitis so he's just as tired and fatigued all the time.
I have 3 boys 6, 2, 8 months... im trying so hard to stay put but its so hard.
Im just trying to relax as much as I can.
Baby #2 due 8/11/2016

Here is another one from Threatened Miscarriage: Evaluation and Management: The prognostic value of a subchorionic haematoma in ultrasound has been disputed. Although a large separation has been associated with about a threefold increase of risk of miscarriage (19% v 71%) in women with bleeding,13 the presence or the size of haematoma did not affect miscarriage rate (10% v 11%) in another prospective series,14 and other studies reported similar findings.4,5,15

And then this recent (but small) study, which did find an association between SCH and miscarrige, still quotes the miscarrige chances as lower than 50% in the presence of SCH:

I had two back to back losses and my next pregnancy also had a very large SCH. It was so scary to bleed like that but baby ended up being just fine. My OB gave me the same 50/50 odds but we just monitored it closely.
I'm sorry you are going through this, and I understand all the emotions that accompany it! Mine started New Year's Eve and I went the the ER. It was very large in comparison to baby, and they said it could go either way. I've been on rest since then, but mostly for other issues. I'm now 21weeks, and although it hasn't gotten much smaller, baby has gotten bigger in comparison, which is positive. Take it easy and lots of water!! Don't hesitate to call your OB if something doesn't feel right. Yours and babies health are most important, so trust your instincts! There are several groups on other boards and on Facebook that have lots of positive stories and encouragement. Hope you feel better soon!
