Just found out I'm miscarrying...again. I just feel so empty and don't understand what's wrong with me. This is the third early loss (June, September, and now). I don't understand why we had no complications with my son but now can't seem to have a baby stick around more than a couple of weeks. Tried really hard not to get hopes up this time around, but doesn't hurt any less. Guess the next steps will be to call the doctor on Monday and see what our next steps are. Sorry for venting and thanks for listening.

My husband and I for some unexplained reason had trouble conceiving on our own so both of our pregnancies were the result of an IUI through the fertility clinic. I say all this basically just to point out that sometimes it takes a little help. Sometimes not being able to carry a pregnancy is due to low progesterone and that will be fixed by taking progesterone supplements as soon as you find out your pregnant until about 11 or 12 weeks along.
Have you ever been tested for endometriosis or PCOS? These things can make it difficult but are fixable.
My my husband and I are going to try again and I just started taking Maca root. It helps to balance hormones. I talked to an herbalist and this is a supplement she highly recommends and has used to help many of her clients get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy after infertility.
I think the great news is you are able to get pregnant. The losses are so so sad but I truly believe if you are able to get pregnant, with a little bit of help it's only a matter of time til you'll have a sweet healthy baby in your arms.
Fairhaven Health has a TON fertility herbs and supplements you can order. That's where I got the Maca and I also purchased Fertilitea.
I think you should focus on getting your body as healthy as can be. Ditch the sugar and try not to eat many processed foods, if you do. Take a probiotic, vitamins, lots of water.
I hope this helps in some way and again I'm sorry for you loss. Praying for you! Hugs momma!

@Kbalas1018 I'm so sorry. I can't even imagine saying good-bye to a child after carrying her for 33 weeks. My heart goes out to you. Endometriosis and PCOS are two things I'm going to have my doc test for, along with thyroid function and progesterone levels. I will also ask about Maca, I hadn't heard of it before. Do you recommend powder or pill form?

Also, did all of your losses occur while under the care of an OB? I only ask because my first two happened before I got to the doctor (The OB prefers to wait until week 8 to schedule an appointment) My third made it to the office, and they literally rolled their eyes at me when I told them of my previous losses. Five days later I lost that one, and can't help but think that maybe there could have been a way to prevent it or something. Or at least feel supported.
Anyways, sorry for the rant. Creepy internet hugs and I'm so sorry we had to meet here.

I take 1 capsule filled with the powder daily. It can definitey affect people differently so it was suggested to me to start with a low dose and so far I haven't had any issues. I have hypothyroidism caused by Hashimotos (an autoimmune disease). So I have to be careful what I take.
There's sooo many different things that could be the cause of your losses. I do recommend getting checked out before deciding to take anything. Like I said before the great thing is you are getting pregnant and with today's technology it usually just takes a few tests to figure out what is going on. One of my friends had 3 losses and then she found out she had endometriosis. They performed an outpatient surgery and a couple months later she was pregnant.. And now has a handsome baby boy.
When I got pregnant the second time (my daughter) I asked to take progesterone supplements because I was using a $300 fertility monitor a couple months before that and it was indicating that my progesterone levels weren't staying elevated after ovulation which can cause miscarriages if pregnancy was achieved that cycle. So I'm wondering if that is why I miscarried the first time.
I know I'm being very wordy but I really just want to encourage you. What you are going through is very hard but don't give up hope.
I will continue to pray for you!
