I got rear ended today. I was stopped and a truck hit me going 30 mph. Unfortunately my son was in the car, fortunately I had him buckled correctly despite how much he hates being confined. The emts told me how lucky I was that he was buckled correctly and tightly. Just a psa that no matter what, make sure baby is in the car seat correctly. You never know when an accident will happen!! I want everyone's babies to be safe!

Time to go buy a new car seat!

Glad you both are OK. You probably know this already, but insurance should cover a new seat. When DH and DS were in an accident, we let our carrier know right away that little man was there and they immediately got a check out to us for a new seat to cover our cost.
