seperation anxiety?

my son is 3 month old and lately my parents and fiance have told me that he just screams and screams when they have him while im at work. he hasnt had those fits with me in over a month so i thought they were crazy. do you think it's too early for him to develope seperation anxiety?

    Yes my son will be 4mo in 3 days and he cries almost the entire time I'm gone but I'm not away from him really any more than 3hrs. He is good with his daddy alone, but everyone else he bugs out. For my son, I feel like it's because I'm not there. So maybe.

    My daughter is 16 weeks now, but for the last three weeks she has started screaming if I leave her. I usually leave for 3 hrs at a time to do errands and she cries the whole time. Both my parents and in laws have called me to get her because she was so upset and refuses to take a bottle. I don't know what to do. I even stayed so they could visit but she cries if anyone holds but me, including her dad.

    Oh she was been given a bottle since birth so I don't know why she is refuses all of a sudden. 

    I read they can't go through separation anxiety before 7 months because they don't know mom and dad exist when they aren't around. But it's the way the main caregiver hold them and smell and their voice. But it sure feels like anxiety to me. I'm going to ask the doctor at the next appointment about this.

    i took him to his dr and he said it is possible this early to develope "anxiety attacks" from mom being away too long. i think maybe its a homesick feeling for them? i know i get anxious towards the end of my 8 hr work shifts from being away from him so long lol

    Our poor babies. I get anxiety attacks, or use to before I met my husband. I hate that she gets them and I'm the cause. I'm staying home with her now. DH does the errands and shopping because she isn't good in public either. If people look at her or advance her too quickly she crys. Family have starting come over and we are doing slow introductions and she seems ok with that. Still won't take a bottle.

    @amwright33 it definitely breaks my heart. i would be a stay-home mom in a heart beat if i was able to. babies are so teenie compared to us, i wouldnt blame them for being a little frightened. i hope your lo takes to a bottle soon. have you asked her dr about how to get her fed? does she not take a bottle at all now?? sending all positivity and luck your way

    I completely agree, I wish I could be a SAHM. Sometimes I see LO wake up from his nap and look for me to help him feel safe

    I have an appointment on March 2 and I'm going to bring up both issues. She stopped taking bottles all together. I just breastfeed her now completely. I tried many bottles and nipples. She will take the formula by spoon. I did that last night. Lol. She just chews on the nipples.
    I'm lucky my DH makes enough and is ok with me not working. Actually I think he prefers it. His mom stayed home too. But not being able to leave her with the grandparents to do errands is hard. 

    Is your baby getting any better?
