I was supposed to be induced late last week, then it was Sunday, then it was Tuesday, then they just called me and said they can't get me in Tuesday (today). The feeling of being ready and being told to wait longer is disheartening. I am starting to get worried because they wanted me originally to deliver 37-39 weeks due to some complications. Now I am almost 40 weeks with no set time/date for induction. Just looking to vent.
Re: Keep Getting Bumped
Positive upside? You and baby are healthy enough for them to feel comfortable with leaving them in there!
I don't know what your husband does for a job, but could he go to his boss and explain the situation?
Maybe they could let him work until you actually go in for your induction? I feel like most induced labors take a bit longer so he would probably have plenty of time to notify them and still not chance missing the birth.
Then again, this all depends on what line of work he is in, and his relationship with his boss.
Good luck and I hope they get you in soon! I'm surprised they pushed induction if they didn't feel like it was urgent enough to actually get you in.
