Hello
My name is Christine. I am currently on my 3rd pregnancy. 1st was twins that I had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks and didn't know about until almost 13 weeks. Terrible experience with my OB who made me wait a week for a D&C which made me feel even worse about it and feel like I couldn't start healing. Switched OB's for the second one. Was told I am still low risk and didn't have an appointment until 10 weeks. Saw a heartbeat, measuring 4 days small. miscarried 5 days later (sac measured more the 2 weeks small). That started 3 months of blood testing because I threw a fit that they wouldn't do anything "because you have only had 2 miscarriages and you are only 23". I told them it was unacceptable because they were 5 minths apart and both at 10 weeks. So we started blood tests. Turns out I have APS, an autoimmune disease that causes clots and it the cause of 15% of recurring miscarriages. Since then I have started aspirin. Found out I was pregnant just before Christmas. Started blood thinners at 8 weeks (a little later then some recommend) and have had to do daily injections since.
With all that being said. I am super paranoid that I will miscarry again. does anyone else have this problem? My doctors are great but I feel like I am not as high risk as soon of their other patients so they put up with me but actually feel like I am over reacting. Is anyone else this paranoid or am I actually over thinking this? Oh yeah I am 11 weeks 6 days.
