Anyone with a Bellefit girdle?

Are you wearing yours yet? I'm 2.5 weeks pp and tried to put mine on yesterday. Technically I was able to put it on and close all the hooks with DH's help, but it was so tight I only wore it for 30 mins. The boning was digging into my ribs and ever since my ribs are achy and I have a stomach ache.

I followed their sizing guide which indicated I needed a Small but wondering if maybe a Med would have been better. Of course I'm past the 30 days for returns now and this thing was quite pricey. Is it maybe just too soon?

I also ordered a small, based on the recommendations, but was way too small when I tried it on 2 weeks pp. I returned mine! I think I may have been able to fit in it now (7 weeks pp).

I had this exact same issue! I'm waiting to lose 10 or so more lbs and hoping it fits me better then. The boning digging in my sides and the leg holes squeezing my thighs was unbearable.

Unfortunately they won't even take returns at all on anything with a crotch that's been taken out of the package

according to the packaging anyways

Oh also, I don't know about everyone else but the fat roll that it causes to squeeze out the top is ridiculous, looks so awful

Yes! Wish I knew all this before I bought it. I can probably also wear mine comfortably when I lose about 10 more pounds but by then I'll be at my pre pregnancy weight so what's the point, I can just workout to tone my stomach. My mom bought me a temporary one that was only $15 and is way more comfortable and still effective.

Yes! Wish I knew all this before I bought it. I just bought one on Amazon for $12. I haven't got it yet but I wasn't about to spend a ton of money on it.

@rachel10488 She bought it at an independent lingerie store by her house, checked the tag and it doesn't have a brand. It looks like a basic tank top that is way too small but the thick material stretches just enough to get it on. It also is cutout at the breasts like a corset for easy breastfeeding.

I am sorry that your girdle is uncomfortable. I chose one with velcro instead of clips for the same reason that you found discomfort. I got this one. It is super adjustable so you can really control the tightness and comfort of it. I have worn corsets before at Ren Fest. Support wise it feels the same, without the unwanted pinching or pressing.

ALSO it is super super cheap, so you can get it without feeling too distraught you couldn't use the first purchased one.

I went on Amazon & the estimated shipping on the hoveox binder (that @momotheflyinglemur recommended) says it won't arrive until 1/27-2/11...how long do you use binders? I'm losing weight fast but my belly is flabby & im had a c-sect so I can't do much about it for a while (3 wks pp).

I hope this link works better. No idea why the other one decided to die. hahaha I have Amazon Prime and one of the sellers is through the Amazon warehouse, so I got it in like three days. I use mine for a couple hours everyday.

I shower, put on lotion and coconut oil, then wrap myself up while I still have lotion on. My stretch marks have shown a drastic reduction since I started.

How long is the Bellefit? I'm very short-waisted and tried a different type after my first baby and it never fit right because it was too long for me, so I returned it. I've got about 12 inches between my boobs and where my c-section scar is. Anything longer wouldn't fit me.

I measured it for you. It's 12 inches from the top to bottom on the side of the girdle. Not sure how low a c-section scar is but I'd imagine it's right around there. However, I don't recommend it. Their website guided me to order a Small and it was sooo uncomfortable, poked my ribs so bad they hurt for 3 days. I emailed customer service and they sent me an extender for the crotch because they said it sits too low on my ribs. It helped a some but really, I look ridiculous wearing it. I have bulges everywhere. It's so bad I would never wear it in public and at home it's just still too uncomfortable. Hundred something dollars down the drain

I got the Belly Bandit because I didn't want anything fastening underneath my sore lady parts, and everything I read said you're supposed to start wearing it ASAP. I had mine on in the hospital. I'm sorry the bellefit didn't work out!!
