WAYDTGKTFU: HIO (I'm hoping hubby's performance anxiety is better this cycle - I'm going to jump him every night in anticipation of FW to hopefully work out the kinks...), PNV+DHA, temping + charting and I'm going to work on upping my H2O intake this month - aiming for at least 80 oz/day, VitC
R/R/CS: Honestly excited for CD1. With hubby's performance anxiety, there was a 99% chance I was out last cycle. I'm excited to try again. Let's hope AF leaves quickly!
GTKY: I already posted over on TWW before AF started. Too much was TV and too little was affection with hubby. I'll pick new ones - Too much - calories. I eat horribly. Too little - space. I wish our house had more storage.
R/R/CS: the dr had me trigger at my ultrasound this morning because of my E levels. He said I had 2 "promising" follicles but I feel disappointed and worried about egg quality... It's just too early. On another note, I had to bring DS with me to my appt and I just felt awful for the other women in the waiting room. I remember seeing children on some of my bad TTC days in the REs office was the worst. I really just didn't have a choice, it was either that or not go.
GTKY: I eat too much chocolate and take too much ibuprofen (endo, and back and shoulder problems are the worst!). The thread yesterday reminded me that my REs office told me to only take Tylenol with stimming and during the 2WW but so far I haven't listened. It took us 14 cycles of fertility treatments to conceive DS and that's asking a lot. For what it's worth, the cycle that I conceived DS I took probably double my usual amount because we moved and I was in a lot of pain.. But now that I've triggered I may just cut my dose in half and see how that goes.
I don't clean enough or do enough laundry. With 2 dogs, a toddler and a messy DH I'm always behind.
WAYDTGKU: Waiting for DH to come home from his business trip (and to stop spotting)
R/R/CS: If I wasn't still spotting from AF (andplusalso DH and I haven't had sex since before AF) I'd say I was KU right now. I'm having horrible insomnia and I'm waking up nauseous every day. Also food aversions, and tired ALL the time. WTF is wrong with me?! I'm wondering if one of my vitamins might be making me sick. DH bought the wrong kind of B complex when he was at the store (it's a different brand and larger dose than I was taking before, but I've been cutting it in half anyway), but I kind of suspect this to be the culprit. I don't know. I am just tired of feeling sick all the time. Are there any non-reproductive conditions that could be causing these symptoms?
GTKY (stolen from TWW): What is one thing you have or do too much of? What is one thing you have or do too little of? Too much nausea, not enough sleep. *huge sigh*
Apparently yesterday’s responses never posted. And I don’t have them anymore, so everyone just assume I offered you FX, hugs, and such where appropriate, please!
@writeress - FX that you’re reading your body correctly, and for a good TWW!
@Marley629 - hooray for decreasing stress, and I agree, exercising always helps with that.
@babymish - FX that you’re moving over to the TWW tomorrow as you expect. And so many FX for a good TWW! I’m not a huge NYC fan even though I’m there at least a couple times a year because of BFF. It’s too crowded for me, so my recommendations are usually for less crazy place. If the weather is at all conducive to being out and about, I’d recommend The High Line as a fun/relaxing/different side of NY definitely worth checking out! Also, I’m a fan of Waldy’s Wood Fired Pizza in NY!
@mrsdee15 - Sorry for a cycle of wonky temps— that was me last cycle and I know how rough/frustrating/stressful it can be. *hugs* FX that you still get a good temp shift out of it.
@JessCL - I hope you are successful at not stressing out.
@NordyMN89 - FX that everything goes well with the IUI! And oh goodness yes on talking too little with family… that probably should have been mine…
@virginiaham - ahhhh, sleep! Love it! Glad you’re having a good day.
@NordyMN89; Noted on the grapefruit, oooh I'm obsessed with coconut right now!!! TY on the whole30- it really helps that DH is participating & supporting me, even through his "i hate this" moments hehe.
@sparty18; bwhahah lurk lurk away! ok now i've gotta try grapefruit for the "booze" comment alone, especially since i'm not currently drinking lol!!! cran-rasp sounds yummy as well!
@virginiaham; i love saying pamplemousse, tell DH to get on board ASAP! lol.
@MrsDho11; you know, you're probably right! on the weekends I'm usually only on once in the earlier morning hours & already saw a few had been posted & was trying to explain my irritation to DH & he didn't get it LOL- I was like THERE ARE RULES DH, RULES!!!!!!!!!! lol.
ME: 31 | DH: 31
Married: April 2015
TTC (BBT & FF) #1: April 2015 (Off BC: January 2015)
So this is my first WTO in three years. Just got my IUD yanked yesterday.
Month/Cycle: 1/??
CD: ??
WAYDTGKU: Right now we are in the wait and see where I'm even at. Once I have a period I will start temping again, checking CM, using OPKs. Right now I'm on the green tea train.
R/R/CS: just cramping like a mofo from the Mirena removal.
GTKY (stolen from TWW): What is one thing you have or do too much of? What is one thing you have or do too little of? Eat out. Our budget can support it but we'd save a ton of we didn't. Partly my fault since I'm the meal planner.
@babymish, enjoy the city. I lived in NYC about 12 years ago during an internship, so I don't really have any helpful shopping advice (broke and I'm sure so much has changed), but would concur with all the must see sights the other ladies have mentioned. Also, Chinatown and Little Italy are pretty neat, and I always loved walking over Brooklyn Bridge as well. Actually, once I hit the highlights, my favorite memories of the city are of walking from place to place; it's pretty amazing like @JessCL said. Finally, depending on how long you'll be there, and especially if you have some daylight to spare, you might try one of the double decker tour buses - they go all over the city - and you'll get a good idea of which areas you might want to go back to.
@houseofsetters, if you don't get motion sickness, don't have horrible eyesight, and don't care if your workout is at maximum intensity, you could try to read on the elliptical? For awhile, I was doing that...it literally became my favorite time of day because it was the only time I set aside for myself to read.
R/R/CS: Feeling a bit blue today to be honest. At this point, I really almost feel like we're going through the motions. I'm not sure why I actually thought I'd be KU before now, but I did (probably because of the charting, OPKs, etc.). Quite frankly, it makes me feel a bit like a bit of an a** to even complain or b*tch about it here, so I'm sorry for that. Anyway, I made an appointment with my OB for early next month to discuss what the next steps on our TTC journey may be as well as to start getting some of the bloodwork and possibly other testing in the works. We'll see.
GTKY: Currently, I do too much snacking/eating and too little exercising.
Question - I've heard of drinking grapefruit juice during TTC. Anyone know details on how it potentially helps? I figure if I'm going to drown myself in water, I could add a little helpful flavoring.
@furbabymom2007 Sorry about CD1. I'm with you on the no OPKs...I never got a clear reading from them (granted, I've only ever used wondfos) and plus I limited my water consumption to get a good hold. I decided that hydration was more important.
@MamaMunn Sorry about CD1 to you, too. WTO is the worst. I enjoy from about CD16-CD28, which is when I start feeling hopeful. I feel like my life is now governed by TTC and where I'm at in my cycle.
@atcwag I think grapefruit juice is supposed to help with CM. I usually eat grapefruit around O, but don't know whether there is a huge difference (I just like grapefruit).
Month/Cycle: 6/6
CD:16
WAYDTGKU:Anxiously awaiting a temp spike and sex
R/R/CS: Not a whole lot to rant or rave about.
GTKY (stolen from TWW): What is one thing you have or do too much of? What is one thing you have or do too little of? Definitely going to echo many PP and say I do too much sitting on the couch and waiting TV and too little things not involving a TV.
@babymish definitely eat ALL OF THE BAGELS. You can get same-day discounted tickets to some Broadway shows, i used to do that a fair amount, just for fun.
Sorry i've been MIA for almost a week at this point...busy at work and then DH got strep throat so i'm essentially a single mom right now because we're trying to keep DD away from his germs...it's a whole thing. I picked her up at daycare yesterday and was told that the infant room had been exposed to hand foot and mouth, strep throat (which wasn't caught in time and turned into scarlet fever), and measels this week. WHAT THE HELL. Apparently the kid with the measels got it from the vaccine, which she had about a week ago...i didn't even know that was possible. Fortunately DD is up to date on all vaccinations through 6 months, so i think she's covered for the measels at least. Basically we just take her temperature every time we change her diaper now. i can't wait for winter to be over.
Month/Cycle: 2 (NTNP)
CD: 19
WAYDTGKU: temping, sex when we feel like it.
R/R/CS: Every cycle that i've ever temped for, i've ovulated somewhere between days 19 and 22 (except for the one outlier...the cycle when i got pregnant i ovulated day 31). I expected to ovulate soon, but i haven't seen any fertile CM recently. My first two PP cycles came with several rounds of abundant EWCM before i ovulated...maybe i'm finally evening back out to my pre-pregnancy routine. We'll see. I actually wouldn't hate it if i ovulated late this month, i'm going to FL the first week of March so it would be nice to not have to worry about getting my period while i'm there. If i ovulate this week, i'll definitely have to deal with that. I have been having a breastmilk supply dip the past few days though, which generally corresponds with ovulation for me, so who knows what is going on really.
GTKY (stolen from TWW): What is one thing you have or do too much of? What is one thing you have or do too little of? Too much: Clothes. I have too many clothes. I've stopped shopping so much for myself recently, but now i just buy things for DD instead. I have problems. Too little: I have way too little time. Just in general. Being a working mom is no joke, especially when pumping/breastfeeding is involved. During the week I wake up at 5am every day and go to bed at 10pm and i'm busy every single minute and don't even have time to work out other than on weekends (pre-baby i worked out sometimes twice a day during the week). it is really nuts. i'd also like to have more time with DD during the week, but that's not going to happen until she's able to stay awake later than 7pm i guess.
R/R/CS: Not too much today. I had some confusion with my BBT this morning bc it dropped back down to 97.4. I thought it didn't read my temp correctly but I checked again and it seemed to be fine. I also put in tomorrow's temp as a test and see that I'll have O confirmed, so that's good. Looking forward to trying out the TWW group as this is my first time.
GTKY (stolen from TWW): What is one thing you have or do too much of? What is one thing you have or do too little of?
Too much computer time - I feel like I'm starting at a screen for 18 hours a day and it's starting to make me bummed. I read a lot but I'm looking at a Kindle, which is a screen itself.
Too little face to face time with people - I work from home and DH has been traveling a lot so I find there are days when the only other living thing around me is my cat. Can't wait to move and have this change!
<b>R/R/CS</b>: AF seems to be subsiding, DH and I both have headaches though. Feeling totally over this. WTO is basically a drag and I have like zero energy. I feel like there is so much to do between now and 5PM, between now and when we bring the puppy home, between now and once the taxes get filed and currently my dear DH is laying on the couch with the dog. :/
<b>GTKY</b>: Too much time on the computer and not enough time moving my body, lately. <img title="Image: https://global.thebump.com/ticker?TT=ttc&TT1=ttc&CL=28&CT=D&CG=T&O=m_bird2&T=t_ttc12&D=2016-02-13&M1=13&D1=&T2=&T1=&T3=&CC=4&CO=FFFFFF&CO2=&W=C&TS=&R=&SC=green" src="https://global.thebump.com/ticker?TT=ttc&TT1=ttc&CL=28&CT=D&CG=T&O=m_bird2&T=t_ttc12&D=2016-02-13&M1=13&D1=&T2=&T1=&T3=&CC=4&CO=FFFFFF&CO2=&W=C&TS=&R=&SC=green" alt=""> TTGP February Siggy Challenge: Valentine's Fails <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/3a/uykdf63gqzwr.jpg" alt="" height="335" width="420">

***soon to have a second adorable white German Shepherd fur-pup***</span></p>
R/R/CS: One more good temp and I can move to TWW. Just hoping our timing was good enough.
GTKY (stolen from TWW): As some of your said above, I have too much "screen" time and not enough "face to face" time. I also think I don't have enough clothes or that just could be my excuse to shop
@runningpenguin we are in the same boat. IUD removed yesterday. It's such an odd place to be not knowing when my body will go back to "normal"
***TW: older children mentioned***
Month/Cycle: 1/1?
CD: 17, based off when I had periods while I had my IUD in
WAYDTGKU: bbt, PNV, OPKs, hio
R/R/CS: I am very nervous/anxious about TTC this time. I think a lot of it is because I have no idea what to expect coming off my IUD removal. I just hate not knowing what to expect of my body.
GTKY: I spend WAY too much time on my phone. Not enough time on my classes this semester and not enough time just being me (not wife or mom).
Thanks ladies!!! I have a huge list of things to do now! I'm there Sunday (lunch time) until Wednesday night....have a liiiittttle bit of work to do in the day and then I'm going to be busy eating al the bagels and pizza and getting to as many of these places as I can!!
@mrsdho11 seriously excited about your acupuncture! Update us on how it goes!
WAYDTGKU: Pre-Seed, PNV, B6, CoQ10, OPKs, and Temping
R/R/CS: I got a nice big temp spike today which I am hopeful for, plus I got my EWCM, soooo I'm hopeful that O is coming soon even though my CBAD OPK still only says "High" and not peak. I'm hoping it's tomorrow and not today though cause Hubby and I skipped BD last night since we haven't been feeling day (though we BD's 6 of the last 8 days so hopefully that's enough even if I do O today). I'm going to take another test tonight after a 4 hour hold, so Fx for "O". Also just wanted to thank everyone who looked at my chart yesterday and gave insight. There's definitely a steep learning curve for charting.
GTKY (stolen from TWW): What is one thing you have or do too much of? What is one thing you have or do too little of? I work way too much, I hate to admit it cause I love my job, but working 60 hour weeks with what I get paid is not really enough to be working the hours I do. I don't clean enough. Honestly my car looks like a dumpster and it's becoming a problem.
@babymish If you have the time, try to go to TKTS in times square and get tickets to a show. You can get last minute tix at up to 50% off. I saw "Something Rotten" that way and got fantastic seats for a great price! Also the NBC store is fun. They have a Good Morning America set up that is fun to take photos at, plus there's tons of great shopping in the rest of that building!! 5 Napkin Burger has some of the best burgers in the city.
R/R/CS: I'm a little sad that I have to be out of town without DH when I'm probably going to O.
GTKY (stolen from TWW): What is one thing you have or do too much of? Sugar, clothes, student loan debt What is one thing you have or do too little of? Exercise lately. I got an injury from my last run so I've been babying it but now I want to start back up but taking time off from running has taken a toll on me.

R/R/CS: does anyone else only bleed for two days and one day of super super light?! I will bring it up at my endo appointment coming up... But I wanted to see if any of you had thoughts on that? I don't feel like they were this short in my pre-cancer days.
GTKY (stolen from TWW): What is one thing you have or do too much of? What is one thing you have or do too little of? Ha! Dh and I were discussing this yesterday. Outdoor "sports" gear. Backpacking & camping equipment, fishing, cycling, trail running, hunting, snowshoeing, snowboarding..ect. And yarn. If I see something irresistible, I buy it and figure out what I will knit with it later. = large stash. Too little of? Clothes!!! I hate clothes shopping and take a minimalist approach to clothing.

@gardeniagirlknits my periods are usually the same also this month was just a little longer. I studied ff lots though to check it was ok and there were plenty of pregnant charts with 3 day light periods
R/R/CS: For as long as I've had babies on the brain, I really can't picture myself being pregnant or having a baby. My imagination just hasn't really gone beyond a positive pregnancy test. I hope I don't have a freak out when it happens.
GTKY (stolen from TWW): What is one thing you have or do too much of? What is one thing you have or do too little of?
I'm going to follow the crowd and say that I have way too much screen time. I stare at a screen at work and I stare at my phone when I'm home. My poor eyeballs. I think having down-time at home is important, but I'd rather I spent it reading a book than playing clash of clans on my phone.
I don't do enough physical activity. I need to exercise more regularly, but I mean just regular activity around the house, doing stuff. I sit all day at work and when I get home I want to lie on the couch. It's like a snowball effect, the lazier I am the lazier I want to be. I really don't hate doing housework, it makes me feel good and productive. I just need to make more of a habit of doing it. I know DH would appreciate it

Married June 2005

4/2017 - Initial RE visit, Dx: Severe MFI (Varicocele, 14% motility, 3% progression, but normal count)
7/2017 - Stage 3 endometriosis discovered during laparoscopic removal of ovarian cyst
9/27/2017 - BFP at 10dpo (cycle 22), baby boy due June 9, 2018
R/R/CS: We might go to NTNP this month. AF sucks. I wish I had a chance to pass AF to my husband one time, just so he could understand my pain lol He's sympathetic, but sometimes I think he thinks I'm just being a baby. Even though sometimes I am. lol
GTKY (stolen from TWW): What is one thing you have or do too much of? What is one thing you have or do too little of? I probably sit on my ass too much. Consequently, I don't get outside enough. Our family hike we did on Monday really made me see how much I don't get out enough, so hopefully we will start doing more active outdoor activities together
@gardeniagirlknits The older I get, the lighter and shorter my periods get. It's quite normal as we age. Mine are down to one or two days of Medium and one Light. I rarely get Heavy anymore but I've never been a Heavy either.
@RatParade I hear ya. I think this is what they refer to when people talk about the instinct that kicks in. I am drawn to wanting a baby and excited about getting there, but to actually think of being pregnant/having a baby/being a mom is still total weird for me. I have a hard time actually picturing it. Could just be because we don't have anything to base it off of!
R/R/CS: Gotta post and ghost today. It's been a wild one. I'm supposed to running my drama club AS WE SPEAK but my volunteers are in there running it for me because I Can't Even right now. I did get all the layouts loaded into the yearbook today, so I'm all caught up there! Hopefully I can come back here tonight.
GTKY (stolen from TWW): What is one thing you have or do too much of? What is one thing you have or do too little of? I have way too many clothes and I never seem to like any of them. Especially workout clothes. I have allll the workout clothes. And I probably have too many pairs of running shoes, too. I never seem to be able to throw them out. When we go to Italy (35 days eeeee!) we are bringing old running shoes that we can throw out after we go for a run along the Arno. I also have way too many students. I've gotten about 10 new students in the last week or so. It always happens at the semester break in my school - so many transient kids. I'm up to about 185 kids now. What do I have too little of? Uhh, time. And, currently, beer.
@beary67 In about 10 days! I'm so excited and will definitely share pics, but the house is totally not puppy-proofed yet. lol
@gardeniagirlknits That sounds pretty similar to mine. This cycle I got a "heavy" day, a medium, and a light, so really just three days of actual flow and then today is just spotting, if that. I'm sure it's totally normal. I think it's more cause for concern if they are very long or very heavy and/or debilitatingly painful, but I'm not a doctor! ;)
@RatParade Do you Clash? My husband is super into Clash. He was one of the leaders of the In The Dark Clan (which he claims is super impressive to those who know anything about Clash of Clans, which I do not)
@babymish@Kenya715@BusinessWife thank you, thats helping me calm it down a bit. Sometimes I think I'm looking for reasons wth I'm not Ku yet.

I spend too much time in front of some sort of screen (phone, tv, tablet) although right now that's partially due to the winter and my busted foot that's making everything a little harder right now. I definitely have too little self-confidence.
Question! I have trouble sleeping some nights, so in the past I have used benedryl, but obviously I don't want anything that dries me up when it gets towards O, does anyone have any recommendations? I have also taken Z Quil but I think it is the same as benedryl actually. I drink sleepy time tea, etc but sometimes I need something extra

Sorry for my pity party today.
Apparently yesterday’s responses never posted.
And I don’t have them anymore, so everyone just assume I offered you FX, hugs, and such where appropriate, please!
@cjt121413 - FX for O!
@jmr1515 - FX for good results!
@beary67 - The crazies are pissing me off!
@sldp123 - FX for confirmed O with temps!
@Megzb510 - FX for more high temps to confirm O!
@mrsdaddario - FX for period soon then if you’re actually out.
@bender29 - Ugh, I’m sorry that you only just realized that ibuprofen was a problem!
@DiFazette - Congrats on losing those inches!
@houseofsetters - FX that you get your high temp tomorrow for your birthday!
@JamieMichelle12 -
Sorry that your CH got taken away. FX that they come back soon and this isn’t an anovulatory cycle.
@mokay19 - FX that you do O.
@furbabymom2007 - So sorry for CD1. *hugs*
@nwegman7878 - Sorry that you had to start over FF. Did you try contacting support to see if they have a workaround for that? I would expect they do.
@murray1030 - Deep breaths! FX that O arrives soon!
@Lecool - sorry your body is playing tricks on you. *hugs*
@kirby1220 - FX that you’re able to find your gummies today and that solves the issue!
@TrulyBlessed22 - Hey, I always say to enjoy he positive days while you can! FX that the timing somehow works out after all.
@gonetothesea - WOOHOO for positive OPK!!!!
@teamginger13 - FX for the IUI all working out this cycle.
@MamaMunn - sorry for CD1. *hugs*
@thefarmerswife0411 - I think there were more than 3-4, weren’t there?
@Zoey1019 - I hope you have a wonderful visit with your friend! And that AF goes away soon.
TTC #2: April 2018 ~~ BFP: May 2018 ~~ EDD: January 2019
@atcwag - Sorry for CD1! *hugs* And FX that the performance anxiety gets better this cycle.
@EML2011 - FX that things go well with the trigger despite being early.
@MissAmeliaPond - Entirely possible for a new vitamin to be the problem.
TTC #2: April 2018 ~~ BFP: May 2018 ~~ EDD: January 2019
Also, sorry for CD1 @atcwag and FX that this next cycle is better for your DH's performance anxiety!

@virginiaham; i love saying pamplemousse, tell DH to get on board ASAP! lol.
@MrsDho11; you know, you're probably right! on the weekends I'm usually only on once in the earlier morning hours & already saw a few had been posted & was trying to explain my irritation to DH & he didn't get it LOL- I was like THERE ARE RULES DH, RULES!!!!!!!!!! lol.

@jmr1515, fx for good test results
@houseofsetters, if you don't get motion sickness, don't have horrible eyesight, and don't care if your workout is at maximum intensity, you could try to read on the elliptical? For awhile, I was doing that...it literally became my favorite time of day because it was the only time I set aside for myself to read.
Sorry for those ladies who are on CD1 (@mamamunn, @atcwag, @furbabymom2007) - you deserve all the wine.
Month/Cycle: 7/7

WAYDTGKY: BBT, OPKs, CM, PNVs, and HIO
DH: 36⎹ Me: 36
@MamaMunn Sorry about CD1 to you, too.

CD: 18
WAYDTGKU: all of it
R/R/CS: Not too much today.
<b>CD</b>: 5
<b>WAYDTGKU</b>: most of the things
<b>R/R/CS</b>: AF seems to be subsiding, DH and I both have headaches though. Feeling totally over this. WTO is basically a drag and I have like zero energy. I feel like there is so much to do between now and 5PM, between now and when we bring the puppy home, between now and once the taxes get filed and currently my dear DH is laying on the couch with the dog. :/
<b>GTKY</b>: Too much time on the computer and not enough time moving my body, lately.

@mrsdho11 seriously excited about your acupuncture! Update us on how it goes!
TEAM: PINK!!
CD: 18

BFP on 7/2/2013
@RatParade I hear ya.
CD: 20
WAYDTGKU: PNV, EPO, OPK, EOD/EDish

@gardeniagirlknits That sounds pretty similar to mine. This cycle I got a "heavy" day, a medium, and a light, so really just three days of actual flow and then today is just spotting, if that. I'm sure it's totally normal. I think it's more cause for concern if they are very long or very heavy and/or debilitatingly painful, but I'm not a doctor! ;)
