I seriously would be one of those pregnant women who doesn't find out she's pregnant until a head pops out. And I still really want red wine! Ugh.

Although I should get the results of the Panorama test by Wednesday.

GTKY: What did you do for Valentine's?
We went up to Philadelphia for the weekend. We had planned to do Atlantic City because my sister in law and I surprised the guys with tickets to Def Leopard but the show was cancelled. We rearranged our plans and stayed a little closer to home. Philly was FREEZING! OMG. It was a high of 18 I think. So early dinner/late lunch at fogo de chao, clay throwing, escape the room, trips to the Reading Terminal market for doughnuts, drinks at Cuba Libre, national mechanics, eulogy, and more, and brunch at Farmicia.
We decided we would have to tell my brother in law and sister in law. They would have figured it out anyway. But we swore them to secrecy as they are the only ones who know yet.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I don't have much of a bump yet...I will keep hoping I will pop soon! I am so excited to get to find out the sex..we find out 5 weeks from today...seems like so far away!

GTKY: What did you do for Valentine's? Hung out and lounged all day with the hubby (and finally started reviewing my wedding photos from September...).

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? Peach!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Still no symptoms and not showing at all, despite gaining a couple pounds. So glad we found out the sex of the baby early, we have been buying so much baby girl stuff, it's crazy!

Questions? Not yet!

GTKY: What did you do for Valentine's? We went to brunch in a cute town about half an hour from our house, then just came home and relaxed all day. It was glorious to sit around and do absolutely nothing!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? My gag reflex sucks. I had to stop using my mechanical toothbrush because I was vomiting while brushing my teeth. Going back to a manual toothbrush has helped a lot, but now I'm congested and the drainage is causing me to vomit occasionally.

HUGE rave - I felt the baby move Friday afternoon! I've had a few "maybe" flutters at night up until this point. I was second guessing myself since it's so early, but if this one wasn't the baby moving, I have no clue what it was. It was definitely nothing like I've ever felt before. I've felt it only a couple times since then, but it has been more subtle.

Questions? Not this week.

GTKY: What did you do for Valentine's? We started cleaning out the room that I will move my office into (my current office will be baby's nursery) - yea, I know. Super romantic. We did do an impromptu photo shoot and we got some cute pictures of the bump! Then we enjoyed a nice, quite dinner afterward.

16 weeks

New symptoms would be what I'm calling an achy uterus and lower back pain.

We decided last to add on an elective US to our visit this Friday to find out the sex. We thought we would just wait until the anatomy scan but I found out from a client at work that our office will not go out of their way to look for the genitals so you might end up having to schedule the elective US anyway. My question is, I can't decide whether to find out as the tech sees it or have her write it down for us??

GTKY: What did you do for Valentine's? NOT SHIT. I feel like a brat because my DH is wonderful and let's me know how much he loves me everyday and spoils me all the time . . . but he sucks at planning surprises and gifts and special occasions. So he had nothing planned. He did grab a cheap box of candy at the check out line when he stopped by the grocery store during the afternoon. But seeing all the pics on Facebook of sweet things guys did for their girls stung and I started crying. I cried pretty much all day because I had left my antidepressant at my in laws house. DH felt awful and promised to make it up to me, but I'm still disappointed.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Waiting on a more rotund bump (as opposed to chubby looking) and getting so anxious for feeling those first flutters!

GTKY: What did you do for Valentine's? We went on a breakfast date to a really cute local creperie... it was sooo yummy and now it's all I want! It was our first year not going to a fancier restaurant and we're pretty sure we're going to make the crepe/breakfast date a new vday tradition because it was so much fun and way less money! Also, hubby got me a snoogle instead of flowers and I'm loving it!!

How many weeks yesterday (Monday)? 14 Finally, the second trimester!

How big is baby (fruit size or other)? Lemon

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? Every now and then I still get a little morning sickness (well... at night for me) but for the most part it's gone. I'm mostly just having period-like cramps and lower back pain. My PGAL brain made me lose it this week, though, so I'm mostly just really anxious and think I'll stay that way until birth.

GTKY: What did you do for Valentine's? DH wakes up hours before me because he now has a job with normal hours and I still work nights. He woke me up by bringing flowers into the room and setting them on the night stand. He also had some chocolate for me. I thought it was really sweet because he usually doesn't do anything for Valentine's Day. I'm doing the usual for him and making him brownies tomorrow since I'm off. This year I'm making caramel swirl brownies, which are his favorite.

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I can admit I've put on a lot of weight but I've had 3 people tell me it's a girl because I'm gaining so much weight all over my body and 1 person asked how many weeks I was and then said 'wow I thought you were at least 5 months'... SERIOUSLY!

Rants/ Raves/ Symptoms? I'm still so exhausted that I have to have naps at my desk on my lunch break. The LO really saps my energy. On the plus side, the nausea finally went away!

Still really no symptoms, starting to feel a little less tired all the time, but have had some headaches. Excited to find out the sex from my blood test late this week or early next. Will probably share with extended family and work if all checks out with test results! Questions? None. GTKY: What did you do for Valentine's? Nothing really, DH and I aren't big Valentine's Day people. I did pick up dog poop in our backyard (usually something DH does) and tell him it was my present to him haha!
