New Member Mention Children

Hi everyone! I'm 38, have a 13yo DD from a previous relationship and finally met my match last year. He's 40 and has no children. I always wanted at least one more so we've decided to toss the birth control and let nature take it's course. We don't want to stress over this so we just use a calendar app. I haven't mentioned this to my friends, family or work yet because I don't want any negativity (and there would be from some...you know... being "too old" and all /eyeroll) and it would be nice to have some support aside from my partner! According to my calendar, we have nine days to go until we know.

I will update my profile & picture soon. I'm just reading posts and trying to get a feel for this board. I read the newbie post so I hope I'm doing this right!!
