Reality Check Yesterday

After my doctor's appointment yesterday, the receptionist asked if I wanted to schedule my next two appointments.  She then said that I will have ONE more monthly appointment (at 29 weeks) and then start my bi-weekly appointments.  WHAT?  Am I seriously that close to third trimester?  I freaked out a bit.  The receptionist and Doctor both laughed at me, but I was seriously shocked at how fast this is happening now.  I'm not ready for 3rd tri and mucus plugs yet!

    Awww..it's exciting to think how close we are getting to the end!

    Is it wierd that I am not too worried about the whole mucous plug thing?!?! Maybe b/c this is DC#2... makes me think!

    Oooh no! The mucus plug! I forgot about that. yuuuuck! Im almost in the 3rd tri as well and I am just as freaked out as you. Felt like yesterday I was only 20 weeks. :)

    Okay...What is a Mucas Plug?  I'm taking this pregnancy one step at a time but I don't like the sound of that.

    ROFL!!!!!  Whatever you do, DON'T Google it.  You will have nightmares.  Pregnant ladies have "mucus plugs" (Just like what it sounds like) that fall out sometime within the 3rd trimester.  Some ladies lose theirs sooner and another one "grows" back and then they lose it again!

    My appointment this month is my last monthly and then they get to see my mug every two weeks!  I love the fact that things are getting closer!!
