Pretty AND comfy nursing bras

Whooopie, the third trimester is among many of us and with that means I really need to buy a nursing bra because my regular bras have grown terribly uncomfortable. I am stickler for pretty under garmets as I feel it is the key to confidence (something this weight gain has robbed me of).. So where do you get your pretty and soft nursing bras from!?

I love Cosabella's nursing bras, but they're bralette-style so I can imagine they're not ideal for everyone. They're on gilt sometimes for considerably cheaper, but they sell out quickly.

Hotmilk are the best IMO. They are often on zulily at a good discount. Otherwise at full price Amazon and Nordstrom. I'd go to a Nordstrom if you have one for sizing before ordering since zulily doesn't do returns.

I got 2 hotmilk bras the first time and I'm still wearing them! Just got another 2 in the post today. Love them so much. And being a kiwi brand makes me love them even more

Depending on where you live, I think the best thing to do is hit up your local Nordstrom!

Their bra fitting service is the best I've ever experienced, and you aren't limited to specific nursing bras. They can customize any normal bra into a nursing bra for about $15. I just picked up a new one this week...it feels like heaven. I'm currently an F, so there aren't many decent nursing bra options for me, so being able to buy a normal cute bra and have it retrofitted it fantastic.

This just blew my mind! I love Nordie's bra service but had NO idea they could turn any bra into a nursing bra!! That is so cool

Is there anywhere that sells a nursing/maternity bra over a size 46? The highest stores around here seem to go with those types of bras is 46. I'm a bit higher than that. I have a fairly normal cup size, but I never can find the ones that go around me. Someone seriously needs to invent a store that sells nothing but plus size maternity/nursing items!

I'm a 34K...I've gone up over 5 cup sizes and 1 back size. Trying to find nursing bras is practically impossible! I have such a limited choice it's pretty depressing. I think I'll be glad to just find anything that will accommodate my boobs when my milk comes in. I'm more scared of that then actually birthing this baby!

I've had good luck with Bravado bras. Haven't tried their nursing tanks yet, but I plan to get one or two for once baby gets here.

I did not like the nursing bras from Target--after wearing for an entire day, it was incredibly uncomfortable!

I picked up some of the bravado tanks and sleep bras from target today. While they don't accommodate my enormous boobs perfectly they'll certainly do the job for long enough until I know how big I'll be when my milk comes in. I really liked the support tank!

Hotmilk is amazing, and I also got a great bra from Panache last time around. I wear a 34/36 E, so I hear you about larger/unusual sizing being difficult.

This brand is great too. I bought the nursing sports bra at Nordstom with my first. I lived in it for the first month when my boobs were huge and beyond sensitive.

I wore mine the entire time I was nursing DS (which was a little over a year). I had 2 regular/daytime nursing bras that I could wear to work and out and about, 4 sleep nursing bras for home or sleeping, and 1 pumping bra thing for holding the double pump flanges in place hands-free. I also had 4 or 5 nursing tanks, but I typically wore a nursing bra under those as well to hold the nursing pads in place securely.

Just wanna say, I bought a bra extender yesterday....oh my god. Heavenly...I didn't realise my ribs were so sore because my bra was so tight (I like it tight so nothing moves!) but apparently that doesn't work so well when you're 30 weeks pregnant! God bless the extender!

I agree, these are wonderful! They save me so much money when my band comfort fluctuates from water weight.

I have a similar question regarding nursing bra shopping. I'm a FTM. Have you ladies experienced your bra size going up once you deliver baby? Pre-pregnancy I am 38D, now at 28 weeks I am 40D. Should I be buying/registering for nursing bras bigger than my current size at 40D? Any tips would be really appreciated! Thanks.
