Baby Brezza Baby Food Maker vs. Baby Bullet

Can anyone recommend one or the other and tell me why you would recommend it? I've looked into both and found pros and cons for each. Thanks in advance!

Re: Baby Brezza Baby Food Maker vs. Baby Bullet

  • I don't have either, but did a lot of research and the biggest difference is that the Baby Brezza both steams and purees in the same machine, whereas with the Baby Bullet you have to steam the food separately, in the microwave, on the stove, etc. I ended up getting another brand, the Hamilton Beach Bebe, which also steams/purees in the same container. Haven't used it yet, though. There is another brand which does the same, the Beaba Babycook Pro, which is supposed to be the best of the bunch, but I didn't want to spend the money because I wasn't sure how committed I would be to making baby food in the long run. I'd love to make it all myself; but whether or not I'll have the time is the question.

  • @VioletandRose thank you for the info! Oddly enough, I actually hadn't even considered any other brands. I don't want to spend a fortune either for the same exact reason. I definitely want to give it a try but want to be realistic at the same time. I'll look into the one you got as well. Thanks again!
  • I have a baby bullet and it is sublime. I love it. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering getting a baby food processor.
  • I have a Baby Brezza and I love it. It is easy to clean and the best part is that you don't need to get any other pots/pans dirty. It does a great job pureéing the food, but I have found that I need to steam the food a bit longer than the manual suggests. You can also use it to heat frozen pureés too. I would highly recommend it!!
  • Has anyone found a way to get one that steams and purees for cheaper? $100-150 is so expensive for us right now but I really want to make my own. Steaming on the stove (I'm trying to avoid the microwave) and then pureeing in a food processor seems like a lot of work and mess
  • Check craigslist.

With baby 1, she never HD much "baby food". I steamed and mashed a bit but then she quickly wanted chunkier stuff. And we started using the little mesh eater thing and filling it with mashed food. I had really wanted a fancy baby food maker but was glad I didn't get one since it was a very short phase for #1. Now that I saw this #2 will probably want baby food forever :-)
  • @KLHauck12 the Hamilton Beach one I posted about above is on Amazon for $70 and the small Baby Brezza is on there for $75.
  • @KLHauck12 saw a couple listings for a used Baby Brezza on EBay for $45-$50 ... Or if you want it new, you can get it at Target for $71. They will price match walmart's price ($74.80) then if you have the Target Red Card you'll get an additional 5% off. :)
