Pregnancy and shoes

as I left work today I totally fell in the parking lot. Thankfully it's so cold out that my many layers protected me... But I fell because I'm a clutz and I guess my dansko shoes are not helping me stay on the ground. Anyone want to recommend good solid shoes for pregnancy? Would look weird showing up to work each day in gym shoes.

Re: Pregnancy and shoes

  • I wear my Nike all the time now because there comfortable and just snow boots if it's snowing but that's about as comfortable it will get for me

  • I absolutely love my Danskos!
  • just looked up good pregnancy shoes and they all say danko! How come I fall out of mine?!?! I feel like it is my ankle that has me falling out...Maybe I need to learn how to walk again. :)

  • I find those impossible to walk in. They are heavy, and I "fall off" them too!

I found Bass shoes to be pretty comfortable so far. I have a couple pairs of boots, and slides, and they tend to have good tread.

  • I've been wearing my Sorel winter boots daily since I slipped in my Uggs. Hunter boots also have good traction if you aren't in a region with much snow.
  • When I was pregnant with my son I had a pair of simple black slip on skeechers.

  • Basic nonslip/slip resistant shoes
  • Love my Skechers GOWalk 3 shoes.

  • When I lived in Buffalo NY last winter... I wore my hunter boots with the insert to make them a bit warmer.

They worked perfect. I recommended them to my sister in Boston and she swears by them too.

  • I live in my toms, they will stretch to fit my swollen feet too. But they are not slip resistant, so I have a pair of sketchers and my ugg boots that are still comfy too. Just not as much as my toms
  • I like Merrill's I'm on my second pregnancy wearing them. Although they aren't super fashionable they keep me firm footed & warm.https://www.merrell.com/US/en/jungle-moc/16256W.html?dwvar_16256W_color=J60826#cgid=women-footwear-slip-ons&start=1
  • I'll second the Merrils or get a dansko with a strap rather than just the clog.
