  Every pregnancy is different regardless of what gender your child is. You sound like you're disappointed to have another boy on the way....

  I have three boys & this pregnancy is COMPLETELY different than my previous three and I'm still fairly certain it's another boy just on instinct alone. Each pregnancy is different. Genetic testing is more accurate than ultrasound. Congrats on your sweet boy

  That is the great thing about genetics, they don't lie. Those tests are 99.99% accurate.  Every pregnancy is different.

  Yeah those are accurate... They look at chromosomes and such so if it's xx or xy it's pretty obvious to tell...

  Ditto to PP, those tests have greater than 99% accuracy.  There's only one way to get a Y chromosome in your blood and that's from the baby.  Enjoy your healthy baby boy.

  I'd be happy I'm having a healthy baby. Who cares if it pees sitting or standing .

  I've never heard of a genetic result for sex come back wrong. Its coded into the DNA so the likelihood of the information being wrong is very low. I hope you can have your momentary moment of being upset then move on to love this new little boy as he deserves. Its ok to be a little disappointed, but beyond that you might consider the help of a trained mental health professional.

  Thank you everyone.  We aren't disappointed about our healthy baby at all.  We were just surprised by the results.  We are grateful for this blessing!

  Today we got our results on our NIPT and the baby is healthy AND IT'S A BOY!! First pregnancy and I trust the test results. 
  

  TTC for Baby #1 for 3 years. After 2 failed IUI's & IVFs, God blessed us with our miracle .  FET 12/17/15 (transferred 2 embryos at 5days). First Beta 12/29/15 = 354. Second Beta 12/31/15 = 694. Third Beta 1/7/16 = 6,695.  Finally heard his heartbeat (126)  on 1/14/16 @ our 1st US.  2nd US on 1/21/16, HR was 159.  The most beautiful sound ever

  My lazy husband still does this at night. There is no age limit.

  My lazy husband still does this at night. There is no age limit.
