I am officially the worlds worst person!!

today I went into the gas station to get milk. As I was walking back to my car, (I was maybe 3feet away from my door) this older lady parked next to me slams her door into my passenger side! Thinking to myself "are you f***ing kidding me" and it flys out of my mouth! I felt so awful for saying it but it just came out!! She starts apoplogizing like crazy and there was only a tiny little dent (thank god)! I told her not to worry about it and apologized for being so rude. But OMG I can't even believe myself and feel so bad!! I just needed to share bc I feel awful I'm blaming pregnancy but I totally don't feel as if that's a good excuse!!

Re: I am officially the worlds worst person!!

  • Happens to all of us! The other day I was putting DS in his car seat and someone was waiting for my spot (which usually makes me move even slower just because). Well they honked their horn so I threw up my hands and yelled at them. Turns out it was the car behind them and the lady in the car was extremely apologetic. Whoops!

  • It happens to all of us.  And like @vikinggirl12 said, she did debt your car.

  • I've completely lost my filter, too. Pregnancy is so fun. I wouldn't worry about it too much! @VikingGirl12 got said it best...she did dent your car!

  • Lol. All I can think is that you must be really, really nice typically if you think that moment of composure loss at some nice, but dent-prone grandma Jean makes you the world's worst person.
  • Haha I probably would have accidentally blurted out the same thing. Just point to the belly and say "hormones!"

  • I think she deserved that. Someone rear ended me once in a parking lot and tried to run but got blocked in. They got a mouthful too. People should know to be careful when there's lots of cars parked closely. Hopefully she learned not to do that again!
  • Absolutely not the worst person in the world. Everyone has days that puts them at their limit and in the grand scheme of things at least this was a response not something you started. For the past week I've been dropping the eff bomb like crazy. Hormones = no filter
  • Don't beat yourself up over it. Stuff happens... I'm practicing speaking more properly and it's super hard...
  • Thanks for making me feel better!! I just felt bad she was old! My day has just been awful first my crabby child, then the lady and now I just fell on the ice!! Can't wait for H to get home to put DS to bed! He's content watching the minion movie and I'm going to let his dad be the one to interupt and fight with him to get to bed! (He loves when he gets to watch a movie/show he doesn't get to often)
  • I totally don't think you were in the wrong! Also I've lost my filter as well. My 14 year old sister and I were returning movies to redbox and the lady in front of us broke the machine. I typically never cuss in front of my family especially my little sister because she's really sweet and innocent. Well it accidentally slipped out and I said "how the f**k do you break the redbox machine?!" I immediately put my hand up to my mouth and apologized to my little sister!! I felt so bad!
  • Im so glad so many of you have lost your filters as well. I dont have much of a filter to begin with, but I find myself just letting people know how I really feel any old time now. As for the cursing....I call them sentence enhancers so I dont see anything really wrong with dropping the f*bomb. However, as a counter curse to me, my anxiety has sky rocketed, so even when I dont lose my nuts on someone, I feel INTENSE anxiety over the thoughts I had and then replay the situation over and over and beat myself up. Stupid pregnancy hormones making me question my sanity when it is obvious every one else is dumb as bricks....
  • I called someone the 'c' word the other day while we were driving because they were veering into my lane and weren't responding to my incessant honking. Granted, they obviously didn't hear me but I made myself uncomfortable. Ha. I don't even feel comfortable typing it out because I literally never use it.

I have terrible road rage in general, but H looked at me like I was fucking insane... probably because I am.

So, I also pass no judgment.

never used that word pre-pregnancy. But H & I drove the the grocery store the other day & some dude walked right out in front of me (at the pace of a turtle)...without missing a beat I grumbled "what a miserable cunt." I've never seen H laugh so hard! But seriously...that dude had it coming.
