So I never had any sickness while pregnant with my DS. I am 8 weeks now and while I haven't thrown up I do feel queasy constantly and NOTHING seems good to eat. Well not nothing, all I want is greasy junk like burgers and fries

. I'm usually a health conscious person and this is making me feel so guilty. After I eat it I don't feel uneasy anymore and I can function normally for a bit, who would of thought fast food would make me feel good?! Anyone else have similar experiences? I'm hopping this is just a first tri thing and I can go back to eating normally soon.

@blondie080300 what your doc said is actually super encouraging, to me at least! I read all of those articles about how you shouldn't really increase your caloric intake in the first trimester and you should eat super healthy for the baby's optimal development, and all I can think now every time I go to grab a slice of pizza or another piece of toast or a super carb-y dish is "crap." Cuz there's no way I'm not increasing my calories, especially with the sudden hunger that hits me every two hours.
At the moment I can't stomach most of the foods I would normal eat which would be red meats, pasta and rice so have had no choice but go for (what I think are) healthy choices.
For breakast most occasions would be:- cereal/and or selection of fruit with some yogurt or croissant with cheese slices. In earlier weeks it was beans on toast, cheese toastie, toast with jam (bread overload)
To try and lessen my guilt, just made it a conscious choice to opt for brown bread or bread with seed so I input a healthier option.
For lunch:- would really depend how I felt from day to day, if I've managed a big breakfast then would probably snack but yesterday had 2 cheese and onion rolls, wedges and salad then snacked on some popcorn
Dinner:- this is where I struggle... It really depends on what I fancy so I usually end up cooking something totally different to my husband that I would eat.
Last Sun there was slow cooked stew chicken with rice for dinner which I suddenly grew nauseous thinking about even trying. I ended up eating 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and 2 slices of BBQ Texan pizza with wedges and wings (after a couple of the wings I went off them)
Listen to your bodies ladies but let's practise some self-control along the way...
Now I find myself having aversions to most 'red meats' so will be opting for fish and seafood alternatives this week (tuna and salmon)
I do pack a semi-healthy lunch every day (ignore my easy mac today.. I was running behind this morning), and force myself to eat that before giving into cravings.. then if I'm still hungry I hit up the cafeteria for some chips/candy!

I just need to not buy any junk food at the grocery store. If I have a craving I'm not going to run out to buy whatever it is. Although if I keep craving something I'll eventually have to give in.
I saw the hostess cupcakes I've been craving while I was grocery shopping. I stared at them for way too long before walking away. Lol
