I'm looking for a suggestion for a good pregnancy journal. I'm not creative so I'd like a guided one to be able to share with my baby after their born!
I really like The Belly Book. I had it with DS and plan to get one for this baby too, but not until after the first trimester. There's a place for a small weekly belly photo on each page, as well as a few lines to write down how you're feeling. There's cute questions for you to answer along the way and space for ultrasound photos.
For my last pregnancy, I got one called The Belly Book. If you type that into Amazon it pops right up! It was perfect and I love looking back on it today. I'll be getting it for this pregnancy as well.
I had a pregnancy journal but never kept up with it. What I did do, however, (and still do) is letters to my baby. I bought a really nice, leather bound, blank journal and wrote/write her a letter each week. Sometimes they're short, sometimes they're long. I like to think that when I'm gone it's something she'll always have as a reminder of how wanted and loved she was from day 1. I just bought another one to start for this baby as well.
I did my own version of a pregnancy journal on Shutterfly. I made a photo book and some pages were strickly notes. It was a pain, but I'm so glad I did. I need to get up the energy to start this one.
After DD was born, I created her an email address and periodically send her emails as well. At her first bday party I gave out her email address in case anyone else wanted to email her. I don't read her emails, but I log into the account periodically just to keep it active. Mostly she gets emails from myself and DH, the grandparents, and occasionally an aunt or uncle.
@mrskratt - love the pic of your little one. And I have that same bedding in my guest room.
@JamieK1882 - I love the idea of an email address! How cool!
I know that my app (Ovia Pregnancy) has the feature of writing notes/taking pictures/writing notes to baby, etc. That might be a good way to keep track of everything. As for me....I am still too nervous to write/do anything. I am going to have to acknowledge this pregnancy eventually, but I'm still happily shocked!

I just purchased one at Barnes and Nobles called "My Pregnancy Journal with Sophie la girafe". I really like it! It has places where you can put in belly pics, letters to your child, how symptoms are going, etc. It goes through what your dreams of motherhood are, what DH or SO's hopes and wishes are, names, etc.
After hearing the reviews here and on Amazon, I thought I wanted The Belly Book, but when I saw it I didn't think it would suit me. I really hate the Sophie giraffe thing, but I looked at their journal and surprisingly I loved it. I think what I liked the most about it was it has room for dad's input too and it's fairly gender neutral since we're team green.
I am currently expecting my 2nd baby. With my first, I went a little pregnancy-journal crazy and had a few. The Belly Book was good for short entries every week. If you are looking for something that involves more writing and reflection, I really liked "Expecting You: My Pregnancy Journal". It has places to write about things like your career and aspirations, what your life is like, others' reactions to pregnancy, and so on. So, if you like to write and want something that goes a little deeper than "My Belly at 7 Weeks!", I'd recommend it.

Might not be a helpful rec for someone who wants a guided journal, but I'm also in the "letters to baby" camp. I have a gorgeous journal one of my best friends gave me after our loss last summer, and since my BFP I've been writing at least a little note every night. Some messages are more thoughtful about things I want to remember to teach him/her later on, some are goofy about my symptoms, and about once a week or so DH writes too (in his words, "I write whenever I have something to say"). It's not the best formatted, or the most logical, but I'm just going to add an envelope in the back for belly pics and ultrasounds and go from there.
@JamieK1882, I LOVE the email address idea! So sweet! I might even steal that as a shower suggestion...
@JamieK1882 my sis did an email address for my nephew. As am aunt I haven't sent anything but I feel like I should start!
I got Embrace by Nikki's McClure. It's fairly open-ended, there are a few pages for each month plus sections at the back for messages to baby from family members, hopes and aspirations for yourself and baby, and also notes for Dr /midwife appointments. I like the illustrations a lot. It's not too structured though, particularly the month by month part (no specific questions, but there is a little relevant thought at the bottom of each page as kind of a starting place).
