hello! Did any other baby's get a fever when they got their 4 month shots! My little baby did so I been checking her temperature very often and give her Tylenol and she's in very light clothes and suggestion on what else to do I feel so bad for her
Keep up with the Tylenol. You can also try a warm compress at the injection site for soreness. Perhaps a nice warm bath (if LO likes them) would be comforting. Lots of milk and cuddles. Hang in there mama. You'll get through it together.
It happens. We didn't notice a fever this time, but he has been sleeping more. (I am not going to complain that his naps are longer than twenty minutes now)
My LO didn't have a fever, but she was inconsolable for about 2 hours the night she had the shots, so we gave her a dose of tylenol and she calmed down and eventually went back to sleep. I was surprised because she handled her 2-month shots like a champ.
Thank you all for your suggestion, she woke up better but last night was bad i felt so bad for her! Her two month shot she did not get fever and she haven't gotten sick thank god so all this is new for me
Mine wasn't affected by the 2 mos shots, but he's got a fever today from the 4 mos ones. Poor guy, but he's handling it better than I expected. I think the Tylenol is really helping
My LO didn't react to the 2mth shots but he did to the 4mth shots. He spiked a fever of 104 and wouldn't eat at all! I gave Tylenol every 4-6hrs and ended up feeding him using a syringe since he wouldn't breastfeed or take from a bottle after pumping. I called my Drs office and they suggested taking him to emerg to make sure he wasn't dehydrated or anything else was going on.
