Week/ fruit: 29/squash OR cotton tail rabbit which seems more accurate
Rants/raves/symptoms: Leg cramps have started which sucks so bad! Cole is also running out of room in there so I am able to see him moving more which is pretty neat.
Upcoming appointments: Next Tuesday for regular checkup. The 2 week appointments start after!
Questions for the group: Any tips for getting leg cramps to go away when they are happening?
GTKY: What activity are you the most excited about doing when LO gets older? I can't wait to take Cole to the zoo and museum and those places. Seeing the world new through his eyes is going to be amazing.
Week/ fruit: 26/ head of lettuce or a coconut, depending on the app
Rants/raves/symptoms: Still loving feeling baby move so much. Symptoms - pain in my lower back, constantly. It is very uncomfortable and makes it hard to walk.
Upcoming appointments: None until my glucose test on the 23 and OB appointment on March 7.
Questions for the group: Does anyone else have the lower back pain? What do you do for it? Any suggestions for me?
GTKY: What activity are you the most excited about doing when LO gets older? Probably sports, watching him play them and going to games as well.
Me: 31
DH: 29, SA - Great
Married: June 12,2011
TTC #1: 1/2014
Diagnosis: Hypothalamic Amenorrhea
Treatment: Clomid: 50mg, 100mg, 150mg - not successful and not monitored
Rants/raves/symptoms: heartburn is back with a vengeance. Otherwise just really sore and tired a lot of the time. My ankles don't look like themselves anymore
Upcoming appointments: not until March 2 I think?
Questions for the group: any one else have a side preference to lay on? I try to lay on my left side but it always hurts! Not just my hip bone but my ab muscle and even makes my stomach feel bad. So weird.
GTKY: What activity are you the most excited about doing when LO gets older? I think just going lots of places and getting lots of experiences. Pumpkin picking, apple picking, parades in our small town, Etc. we were just talking about this yesterday that we want to take them out and about as soon as we can manage to really experience everything.
Week/ fruit: 26/Head of Lettuce (Tomorrow) - I realize I could wait until Tuesdays to post, but I'm impatient
Rants/raves/symptoms: Super lethargic because I cannot sleep at all. I'm all about baby kicks, but baby boy is keeping me up all the time! Also getting Braxton Hicks much more, and now know I am in no way prepared for labor at the way I handle BH pain.
Upcoming appointments: Tomorrow for cardiologist, monthly check up, and glucose test.
Questions for the group: I've been people talking about how they know which way baby is facing - I seriously have no idea. I understand some movements feel different than others, but how are ya'll figuring out if the baby is laying a certain way?
GTKY: What activity are you the most excited about doing when LO gets older? Some kind of sports - we are all pretty active so just practicing with them and watching them grow.
Questions for the group: any one else have a side preference to lay on? I try to lay on my left side but it always hurts! Not just my hip bone but my ab muscle and even makes my stomach feel bad. So weird.
I'm good with either side, but I have a small throw pillow I put under my lower stomach and I lay half on my belly (not really putting pressure), and half on my side. It definitely is my preferred way.
@sarawifenow Questions for the group: Any tips for getting leg cramps to go away when they are happening?
Is freezing an answer? Every time I move it makes it worse so I just freeze for 20 seconds and then gently massage. Those things seriously suck - I'm sorry.
@AdorkablePixie Questions for the group: Does anyone else have the lower back pain? What do you do for it? Any suggestions for me?
I think someone posted about their DH learning to properly massage with a tennis ball? Maybe it is something worth YouTubing!
Hi guys! I can't believe we are all in/almost in 3rd tri!
Week/ fruit: 27 weeks / rutabaga
Rants/raves/symptoms: I've been feeling out of breath lately. It sucks and I don't remember this with my first. Also, this girl kicks SO much more than my daughter did,...she's always moving!
Upcoming appointments: Had a check-up this morning! Everything went well. My BP an baby's heartbeat look great. I've gained 4lbs (15lbs total) since my last check-up. I did the glucose test so I'm glad that's over with!
Questions for the group: When do your appointments turn over to every 2 weeks? Mine just did! I thought I had another month until this happened!
GTKY: What activity are you the most excited about doing when LO gets older? I love teaching my daughter different things so it'll be fun to do this again. It's so amazing to see them learn new things,

I've also been able to sleep through the night without insomnia for the first time-whoohoo!
symptoms: Hip pain has come back, but so far minus insomnia everything is still the same.
Upcoming appointments: next week!
Questions for the group: none at the moment. @SunshinebinsI prefer my right side. I'm just much more comfortable than laying on my left.
@hellogoodbye2 My Dr. said after 28 weeks she would start seeing me every 2 weeks until 34 weeks when It becomes weekly I believe.
The power of massage is so so helpful @AdorkablePixie. Also warm baths have helped me. Obviously make sure temps are low for LO's safety. Rice in a sock that has been heated also helped, but the best has always been massage. GTKY: What activity are you the most excited about doing when LO gets older? I don't even know where to start. I'm just overly excited about everything she'll get to experience in the next few years!
Rants/raves/symptoms: BH contractions are more frequent now. It's uncomfortable but not painful. Non pg-related rant: I have a graduate student who is driving me crazy!!!!
Upcoming appointments: Wednesday, glucose test.
Questions for the group:
GTKY: What activity are you the most excited about doing when LO gets older? I think either hiking, swim lessons, Christmas cookie making, and sign-language class. And plenty, plenty more!!

GTKY: What activity are you the most excited about doing when LO gets older? Reading. I plan to read to her as a little one too; but I'm excited for when she is old enough to truly enjoy the stories I read to her.
Rants/raves/symptoms: Breathing is a challenge, as is bending down for anything. I feel DD2 doing her daily yoga and kicking regularly. Everyone is saying I'm just glowing but I think it's the amount of makeup I have on so I don't look like a chunk face. OMG just realized I'm now in 3rd tri!
Upcoming appointments: March 4th for my reg check up
Questions for the group: Nope
GTKY: What activity are you the most excited about doing when LO gets older? I'm just excited to see my 2 girls grow together bc I'm an only child.
Been married since 2009. Unicornuate Uterus (yes I menstruate glitter) Several MCs DD born 2013 (our miracle "you can't have babies" baby!)
Lurking from Thursday ticker change -- @sarawifenow if a leg cramp has already started, put your foot flat on something cold like a tile floor to force blood flow movement without having to flex the tensed muscle. From there, wiggle your toes and work to larger shin/calf stretches. Increasing water, calcium, potassium, and magnesium tends to help to keep them at bay. Mine were really bad last pregnancy until I learned these few tricks.
Rants/raves/symptoms: Back pain, BH contractions, leg cramps, and hard to breathe! Even so, i'm still really loving all the movement going on. She's a jitter bug!
Upcoming appointments: Next Thursday.
Questions for the group: When did you first start looking into Pediatricians? My OB made it sound like I was way behind because I don't have one yet. Don't worry Doc, i'll be alright.
GTKY: What activity are you the most excited about doing when LO gets older? I don't know specifically, but I just look forward to seeing her personality develop.
Rants/raves/symptoms: I'm out of breath a lot. A couple of nights ago I had so much trouble sleeping because I just couldn't catch my breath. I think baby boy was camped out on top of my lungs. Also, the usual leg cramps and discomfort while "sleeping" are pretty normal now.
Upcoming appointments: Wednesday is GD test/normal OB, Thursday is growth check ultrasound
Questions for the group: None
GTKY: What activity are you the most excited about doing when LO gets older? Getting them involved in sports, enjoying the outdoors together.
Week/ fruit: 28/eggplant (or rollerblade according to Ovia)
Rants/raves/symptoms: Rave: I finally feel like my hair is getting that thicker, shinier pregnancy look! Rant: reflux has been new levels of horrible this past week. My dr prescriped higher doses of Zantac but I've been throwing up almost every night nonetheless.
Upcoming appointments: March 4 for checkup.
Questions for the group: Have any of you had extreme reflux that has made you vomit and if so, what has helped? I'm trying to avoid taking anything stronger than Zantac but worried I may have to if I can't get past the throwing up.
GTKY: What activity are you the most excited about doing when LO gets older? Probably playing sports with him and seeing what he has natural ability for. I always played football and baseball with my dad and brother growing up and want to do the same with my little fella.
Rants/raves/symptoms: Rave: My face isn't breaking out as badly as it was in the beginning. Yay for no longer looking like a pimply-faced teenager! Rant/symptoms: My feet haven't been swelling badly, but they have been so sore. Even when I wear comfortable flats, tennis shoes, etc., it feels like my heels are bruised on the bottom by the end of the day.
Upcoming appointments: Feb. 24th for glucose test, Feb. 29th for epidural consultation/pre-registration at the hospital, March 4th for my regular OB appt. It looks like I'm going to be busy with appointments over the next few weeks!
Questions for the group: Does anyone have any good at-home remedies for sore feet? Any good foot soak recommendations?
GTKY: What activity are you the most excited about doing when LO gets older? I can't wait to take LO sailing. We plan to start him early. One of DH's good friends is an instructor for our local youth sailing program, and she's so excited about getting our LO involved as soon as he's old enough. I also can't wait to take LO to his first football game. DH and I are both huge fans of our alma maters (The University of Alabama for me, Ohio State for him), and we're both Cleveland Browns fans (even though they suck!). DH also wants to get LO involved in wrestling (DH was a wrestler in high school and college), but I have zero interest in it, and wrestling season would coincide with our regatta season, so DH may be on his own with LO and that activity.
