We get 10 cans a month until he's 6 months. So we've had to buy 1-2 big cans per month so far. Once he starts solids they go down to 7 cans because he should obviously be eating less formula than before.
We get 9 18 oz cans a month and buy two big (36 oz, I think?). At 6 months we will get 10 of formula (or appointment is next week), and I become ineligible to receive groceries, which sucks. I'm pretty sure I'd still be getting food if I were breastfeeding.
Okay good I don't feel as bad then lol we get 10 cans from WIC a month now and I've had to buy 2 big cans and 1 small one as a just in case. My pediatricans office said WIC provides enough for us not to need to buy extra so I got really concerned, cause I've bought extra every time
I actually haven't had to buy any extra. Of course I had sample cans when we first brought him home and our first month with WIC he was only home 2 1/2 weeks, so I had what I bought the 9 cans of formula and the samples from Emfamil so I have been able to keep extras on hand. We go down to 7 cans next month.
