relactating?

i had to stop breast feeding at 12 weeks because my nipples were bleeding and weeping after every feed. 
they have healed now and I want to start breast feeding again
has anyone had any success doing this or have any advice? 
i can still squeeze out some drops of milk

    I've heard of women being able to relactate. Lots of pumping or placing baby on the breast and skin to skin.

    There is a girl in S15 that is doing this! I can't link her thread, but if I can find it I will. She went into a lot of detail what she is doing to get production back.

    If you are still able to squeeze milk out then you can definitely do it. I would recommend find a lactation center near you. And a breastfeeding support group they help!!

    I'm relactating, myself. When LO was born she wouldn't latch and she would become so fussy. Even when she was about 3/4 weeks old, I tried again with a lactation consultant and she protested. My supply was insane for the first 7 weeks postpartum but obviously went down because she wouldn't nurse. I got depressed and stopped trying. But then I stumbled across a couple of blogs of moms who began relacatation journeys, too. One started hers when she was 13 weeks postpartum and now her son is 22 months. She kept a journal to track progress and to stay focused. She ended up being able to BF exclusively after maybe 4 months or so. She really encouraged me to get going.

    I've been making lactation cookies using MilkMakers' recipe and taking Fenugreek, as well as a supplement for pregnant and nursing moms from Sprouts. I'll look through my bookmarks and post the links when I get home :)
