Re: **Thursday TWIN Check-In, 2/11**
How many weeks are you? 27 tomorrow (wow, that sounds far along!)
Anything interesting/exciting/scary at your latest appointment or sonogram? It was a BIG week for me. Dr's appt. Mon. with a new OB, hospital tour Tues., and sonogram Wed. Baby's look great! For the first time they had changed positions (that we've seen during a sonogram anyway). They've always been transverse (one on top, one on the bottom). This time baby A has moved head down and B is breech. (di di boys). The hospital tour was fun to see. I've already had 2 kids there (8 and 5 years old) but it's been renovated. SO much better!
Are any of you working out and what does that involve? Yes, I'm still doing jazzercise a couple times a week like I have been for a few years. It's getting harder though. The strength training classes are easier than the cardio ones.
Questions for the group? Has your Dr. told you how far they'll allow you to go? Mine said they prefer to induce by 38 weeks.
Will you have family and/or professional help when the babies are born? Fortunately our families both live 40 min. away so they will be able to help sometimes. My mom is a teacher and will be off for the summer and my MIL is retired. Both are really helpful in their own ways. My mom isn't afraid to take the night shift now and then. We really can't afford professional help so I doubt we'll go that route (unless we're super desperate!!).

Anything interesting/exciting/scary at your latest appointment or sonogram? We found out that Baby B had gone from breech to head down, making them both head down.
Are any of you working out and what does that involve? Nope. Stopped that one at the very beginning because I was so exhausted. Once I finally felt like I had the energy again I was too worried to start since it had been so long. I do walk quite a bit more than average and none of the doctors seem concerned so...
Questions for the group? Has your Dr. told you how far they'll allow you to go? I was told they will not let us go past 38 weeks (fine by me!)
Will you have family and/or professional help when the babies are born? Both of our families are in a different state. My parents have said they will visit/stay as long as we ask them to. I think we've decided it's best to have at least a week with just the 4(!) of us to see how things go, and to have a better sense of what exactly it is we need help with.
How many weeks are you? 23w5d! Almost to viability!
Anything interesting/exciting/scary at your latest appointment or sonogram? Nope, but no news is good news. I have both peri and OB next week.
Are any of you working out and what does that involve? Yes! I do a short jog-about 2 miles-once a week, go lap swimming once a week, still going to regular yoga but will have to switch to prenatal soon. And lots of trail walking with my dog. Braxton hicks contractions make activity more difficult, as does having to pee more heh. Been feeling really good throughout 2nd tri though, so taking advantage.
Questions for the group? How early are you having a shower if you're having one? @2.red.heads I think mine said they will let me keep going but won't stop labor after 32 weeks. Hoping to make it 37!
Will you have family and/or professional help when the babies are born? My mom and sister are coming together in June, not sure for how long. We live far away from our families and I don't have a great relationship with my mom so I am glad my sister will be here to run interference.
How many weeks are you? 28w3d
Anything interesting/exciting/scary at your latest appointment or sonogram? Status quo over here. Both babies measuring great, everything about them looks good still and they are both head down still (though my baby B likes to go transverse at times)
Are any of you working out and what does that involve? Ha hahaha ha ha does that answer your question?
I try to walk the dogs as much as I can but in reality my little body is sore and tired much of the time.
Questions for the group? Don't think so! Our doctor will only allow us to go to 38w as well (or around there) I have a feeling they will come on their own before that
Will you have family and/or professional help when the babies are born? My mom will be here for several weeks, and my stepmom for a few after that. We can't really afford to pay someone for more than a little bit here and there, but we also shouldn't really need to since my family will be flying in to help.
