No heartbeat visable

had first ultrasound today. Based on opk and day we dtd I figured I was 6weeks or 6weeks 1 day. Saw sac measuring 5wk5 and yolk sac it no fetal pole or heart beat. Going bac on Monday . Could use good t+p please

T&p! That's not too much of a difference in your dates, so at this point don't worry. 6 weeks is still super early. An extra couple days is probably just what baby needs.

Thinking of you. Stay positive. Unless you know when you conceived, it's likely their EDD based on your LMP is off.

I am in the same boat. Was 5w6d, just yolk sac but it was measuring well. They didn't seem at all worried and have me coming back at what would be one more week. It's normal to not see a heartbeat until after 6 1/2 weeks. Some people are just luckier and get to see it earlier. I keep reminding myself atleast there is a baby bean and its intrauterine which is the first step. Have to say it lots because I'm still super nervous as well that we will go back Monday and see no change.

Good luck to you too! I have had 3 chemicals and a loss at 9 weeks. I also have a 5 yr old son by IVf so this is pregnancy 6 for me....I so need this to work out as I'm not sure how many more losses I can emotionally handle

I just wanted to share that this happened with my first pregnancy. I had very heavy bleeding at 6 weeks and had an US with no heartbeat. We went back a few days later and there it was. That heartbeat is now 11 months out in this world and doing great. ❤️ Try not to stress. You may have just ovulated a couple days late.

The ultrasound tech saw a heartbeat in mine at 6w+1d measured gestational age, but she acted like that should be pretty exciting/unusual, that most women see it closer to the 7 week mark. So don't stress. Also I have heard that those OPK are often super inaccurate, so don't worry that your dates are different.

All the T&P's! My first US for DS1, we couldn't hear a heartbeat and the sac looked empty. She suggested I come back in two weeks and that maybe I wasn't as far along as we thought. Two weeks later, all was well and I was measuring on target. FX that you're in this same boat.

Thanks...I go tomorrow morning at 8am...been having brown spotting which I know can be from the ultrasound just really hoping for some reassurance tomorrow
