Can you please help me decide how/when to tell my BFF I'm pregnant after her MMC?

I just found out I'm pregnant (I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow) and I am so excited (previously, I had a MMC in
08/15 @ 10 wks). My BFF, unfortunately, just had a MMC in 01/16 @ 10wks
: ( She knows I've been trying to get pregnant, and told me she wants
me to tell her if I succeed, but I know I was DEVASTATED when she told
me 3 months after I had MC'd. I will see her when I travel back to my
hometown in 2 months (I'll be 11 weeks pregnant, so won't yet be
showing). I don't know if I should tell her before I go to PA in the end
of March, while I'm in PA, or wait until she's had 6 months or so to
recover.
Any input/advise on this is VERY much appreciated! Thank you = )

Don't tell her in person. Call or email so she has her own time/space to react.
It sucks (trust me, I've been there) but ultimately, I told myself that OTHER people being pregnant didn't cause me to lose my pregnancy nor did it mean I couldn't get pregnant again. I was always happy for people, even when I was jealous it wasn't me.

I agree about not telling her in person. Also, I'd wait until you hit second tri, just in case. I hope you have a happy healthy pregnancy, but I wouldn't go telling anyone too soon whether you've suffered a loss or not. I've just always been cautious about saying anything too soon. But that's just me.
