It's clear that I'm the one who does ALL the pregnancy stuff in our 2-mom family! Last night, my wife and I were chatting and she said that her co-worker who's also a friend of ours asked her how many weeks I was. Here's how that conversation went:

Wife: Um, I don't know. She's due at the end of May.

Co-worker: 30?

Wife: That seems like a lot. How many weeks are in pregnancy? Like 50?

Co-worker: Um...I guess I should've asked her.

Wife: That's probably best. I don't know any of this stuff.

LOL! I would add that this is baby #2 for us. My wife is SO not about the pregnancy part! (She's great and supportive, just clueless as to a lot of the details!)

At our doctor's appointment this morning I was talking to my OB-GYN about how they'd figure out if the baby is breech or transverse. MH asks, "what happens if he's upside down? you just pull him out by the legs?"

.... no.

This morning during breakfast, MH all of a sudden says "now your nipples point straight down! So if you ever forget where your belly is, you can just follow your nipples".

Lol, it's okay! Just wait for engorgement...then they tend to look like fake boobs. DH always got oddly excited when it was just about time for DS to eat because my boobs were like balloons. Also, they probably won't be exactly the same afterwards, but you won't necessarily be left with pancakes either.

ETA: I realized this may have come across as really weird as I wrote it. It wasn't the bf itself, he pretty much ignored that. It was the cup-size increase between feedings that amazed him.

At our December appt Dr told us baby was transverse and before she could finish her sentence DH got all worked up because from what little reading he has done he knows that's not good....at the END of pregnancy. I had to call him down and tell him he still had time to move

Haha that sounds like my husband.

Earlier this week my 8 year old was jump roping outside of gymnastics class and she said "Oh sorry, Mom. I'll be quiet." I said "You're fine sweetie!" She said, "Well when were weren't 27 weeks, I think it was the first trimester, you asked me to keep it down." I explained that was when I was sick. Still thought it was sweet. I went home and asked DH how many weeks I am. He had no clue. My 8 year old is more attentive than him!
