So no real point other than to vent, but also looking for opinions on what others would do in my situation...
I'm in two upcoming weddings-my brother's wedding in July (6 months pregnant), and my cousin's in Oct (wedding is 10/8; EDD 10/16!).
We went shopping for dresses for the July wedding this past Saturday, the same day I got my BFP. The dress HAD to be ordered that day plus rush shipped in order to be in for the wedding. Since I haven't told anyone yet, I went last for the fitting after everyone else had left. Since the dress is short, they were worried about my bump pulling the front up (like a high-low dress), so I had to order the tall version (extra $25), and 3 sixes larger (another extra $25). So I ended up paying the price of the dress plus $80 in extras.
For the October wedding, we already bought our dresses from David Bridal and they are in. The design is getting discontinued this month, so I'm on my way there now to hopefully size exchange my dress from my current size to a 9-months pregnant size.
Like I said, no real point to this post other than I can't really talk to anyone else about it since no one really knows yet. A big part of me fears that I'm ordering these dresses assuming I'll be pregnant and then have a loss. However, I also think it would be stupid of me to not plan ahead since "today I am pregnant." (ESPECIALLY since the dress decisions need made now and I can't wait a month or two). Ugh

I wasn't expecting to get pregnant, honestly, and I actually lost enough weight between ordering my BM dress and when it came in so that I just exchanged it for a size smaller just a few days before my BFP. Now I don't know if it will fit at all by the end of May

We aren't telling any of our vendors or family members until after the first ultrasound. It should still give us enough time to send out save the dates and invitations if we are not fortunate enough to have a successful pregnancy (i miscarried in 2013 at 7 weeks).
Try to stay calm, hopefully your dress for Oct can be exchanged. You can't blame yourself, it's part of life. Best advice ever given to me about pregnancy - there's never an opportune time to be pregnant. I'm sure your family and friends will be so excited for you when you tell them the news!!! Good luck!!
I'm a MOH in a wedding 4/16 and a BM on 6/24. I have my dresses for both and I really didn't think we'd be pregnant so quickly after Mirena getting removed in Nov.
My April dress was a little loose fitting, so fingers crossed I can squeeze in to that one. My June wedding dress is a discontinued style by David's and the only one left even close to my size. When I tried it on, I actually said to my bride, "It's a perfect fit, so let's don't hope I get pregnant quick!" Whoops, lol. I don't actually have another plan for it and (just like everyone else) I don't want to tell anyone until have the first u/s so I'm just going to sit on it for a while and cross that bridge when I get there.
Sorry I don't have any advice, but I'm glad I'm not alone!

One of my best friends was about 8 months pregnant in my wedding, and she came out just fine! So hopefully we can have some luck! It's my first pregnancy and I swear I'm going to blow up like a balloon, but also I'm intent on not gaining unnecessary weight.
It's a boy!
