Hair salon visit....cry fest

Ok so at 38 weeks I decided to go to a salon and get my hair bayalag highlights because i wont be able to get out for a while once baby come..so i go in take a pic with me of what i want..i literally see no change and my hubby walks in and says" looks same As before" now i spent 140.00 and feel like i wasted money..i should have said something at the salon..im shy didnt really see( forgot my glasses) lol and cried when i got home...stupid i know...first one is pic i showed her..second is how my hair turned out :(

    that happened to me the last time i went to get my hair done. i was livid, especially considering it isn't cheap to get your hair done. 
    maybe go back tomorrow morning & tell them that you just aren't happy with it & see what they can do. show them he photos you showed the girl, & hopefully they will do somethinf to make up for it. but yeah, she didn't put any highlights in it at all. it looks like she dyed your whole head the colour of what the highlights should be.

    I know right! I called and they booked me for monday 10:00am hopefully i dont have baby by then lol hopefully it gets sorted ..i hate saying anything but i aint rich ahah

    The woman in the pictures has a lot more lowlights in her hair than you do.  When people have those deep low lights it makes the bayalage stand out a lot more.   Your hair dresser probably should've pointed that out to you. 
    Also the woman in the photos used at least one photo filter-  so it probably looks fairly different if you were to see it in person.

    I thought your after picture looked fairly close to the models. She clearly started with darker hair (or more lowlights as PP mentioned) so it would kind of be silly to think that you could have the exact results as the model has way darker growth/roots and I think that's a part of the balayage/painted highlights look.

    If you make it in on Monday, I would just stress that they didn't use enough darker color in your hair? I think that's what your issue is anyway.

    Not sure what the question is here or what this has to do with pregnancy. There is a chit chat bored that you can post this in maybe?

     The original pic has a girl with low lights as well. Can't say I've ever left my stylist not happy so I'd go back and tell them to fix it.
