Weekend Wait

Got my HCG levels checked today due to increasing cramping and bleeding. Came back 3653 which is good for my 5 weeks, but now having to wait the weekend to get them checked again might kill me. Plus the cramping is worse than ever...

I feel your pain! I had my levels checked on Monday, Wednesday and today and have heard zilch from my doctor. I guess no news is good news but I am anxious to know for sure what my results are! Guess I have to wait until next week, too

Ugh the waiting is definitely torture! FX for you!

I'm going through some weekend waiting too. I woke up to spotting today, got HCG checked and the results were back in 2 hours which was amazing but its at 1976. A bit concerning (to me) since based on my O date I'm 5 weeks 4 days. So then they sent me for an ultrasound and by the end I had 2 techs and the radiologist in the room trying to figure out if they think I have an ectopic or if I just have a cyst in my ovary and its too early to see anything in my uterus. They told me they aren't sure so to come back in a week! And my obgyn office is now closed for the weekend so I don't expect to hear from them until Monday. The thought of an ectopic never crossed my mind ever. I'm praying I just have a slow grower and there's nothing wrong with my ovary! And that this bleeding stops!

I feel your pain. Yesterday I was waiting to hear from my doctor who left a cryptic message on my voicemail that "everything else is fine, but your thyroid is not". I was running around trying to call doctors today... while at nursing school clinicals with no cell phone service in most of the building. It was a stress nightmare. I had to coordinate the thyroid tests my OB ran with my Endocrinologist to get my Synthroid dosage upped. My TSH was 15.79!!!! Holy moly. Got a script called in by my Endo's clinical admin at the last minute (after office hours, even). So thankful!

Hope your results come back okay. I know it's hard to wait, but you're pregnant right this moment, and cramping is normal.

I've had some spotting and asked to have betas drawn. My first was Thursday and I haven't heard a result yet. I'll go back Monday for the second. The waiting is hard!

I'm with you all i have my first ultrasound Thursday. My last beta was drawn on Tuesday so it's hard waiting over a week with zero knowledge if anything is happening in there

My weekend wait turned out good with my levels more than doubling since Friday. Scheduled a sono for two weeks from now, can't wait to see our little nugget. How is everyone else doing?

Doc called me this morning and said everything looks great. I had to go online to see the specifics. Looks like it was 2099 (4 wks+4) on Wednesday and 3780 on Friday (4 wks+6)... no idea what the initial draw on Monday was. This is the first time I have had my levels checked so those numbers seem pretty normal to me. I go in for my first ultrasound next Wednesday. Once I make it past 8 weeks, I will be infinitely less anxious!

My weekend did not go well... my HCG #s went from 1976 on Friday to only 3071 on Sunday so they sent me in for another ultrasound yesterday afternoon. They confirmed it's an ectopic in my left Fallopian tube and sent me immediately to the ER. Luckily they don't think they'll have to do surgery and they gave me shots of methotrexate which will stop the embryo from growing and then I'll essentially miscarry. I'm really really upset and hoping I don't have to go through this ever again. After my chemical last cycle and now this, my husband and I think we are going to take some time off from trying because maybe it just isn't our time.

I hope you all have amazing and enjoyable pregnancies and will definitely lurk every now and then to check in on how you're doing
