I told H that he needs to stop being so impulsive and put a little bit of money away each paycheck for a new Play Station game he wants instead of buying it the day he gets paid. Then I came to work and got stuck in a stupid online meeting so I perused the Motherhood clearance sale (40% off clearance! Check it out) and basically bought it out.
I suppose he'll get his way. There's no reason for him not to money wise except I'm testing his patience because I'm an asshole and think it's funny. I'm not looking forward to the stupid smirk he's going to have when I tell him to go buy his dumb game even though he totally doesn't need it and I actually need clothes.
I had to eat a lot of crappy cereal to have some delicious marshmallow cereal. I sort and eat all the 'kibble' and save the marshmallows for dessert when the milk is extra tasty. (Yes, I'm a smidge type-A)
ETA- you can get a jug of just lucky charms marshmallows.
My husband quit buying Lucky Charms because I would eat all of the marshmallows and leave the cereal ...
lol. I'm in Canada so I have no real stake, but I'd be happy to see either Bernie or Hilary take office. It just bothers me to no end to see so many amazing women on here have to deal with significant shifts in their lifestyle/career in order to have a baby due to the lack of an adequate maternity policy (meaning you are making choices that you really shouldn't have to). It makes me really angry that some of you have to worry about losing your job because you want to take x amount of time off to have a baby. OR not be considered for a job all because you're pregnant. It's mind-boggling. Having to worry about returning to work a mere 8 weeks after having a child is CRAZY! CRAZYTOWN!!!
From that link you included, it actually sounds like Bernie has a more solid plan than Hilary on the issue. It seems more detailed. Interesting.
I'm the only one in the office today, so I moved the office phones to the floor by the couch in the waiting room and pulled out a laptop. I'm currently overly comfortable with my shoes off and laying down on said couch, answering the phone without actually sitting up. Lazy for the win.
So I moved my fridge today. Just like, 3 feet. But I guess this jostled the contents within, because an hour later I went to get a snack, and when I opened the door, a full, unopened 4L (gallon) milk jug fell out and EXPLODED on the floor. It completely soaked me head to toe, rapidly covered the kitchen floor, and sprayed all my cabinets right up to the ceiling. Why why why why why. My cat was in heaven trying to lick it all up before I could get it cleaned up, so I'm really thrilled about having a cat with explosive diarrhea later.
I've had a zulily account for awhile but don't use it much. After seeing all the talk about it I went on and found out that they have a sale on baby TOMs shoes and now I want to buy them all because they're so damn cute. I know baby shoes are useless until they're walking but they're so so so adorable.
Had a random guy at bank I work at ask me how far along I am.....I was like.....wow, thats gutsy, since I am a plus size girl and know I look extra fat for the most part.....wow, some people.
@Emztron500 the wait for animal tummy troubles is the worst! My dog got into my parent's cat's food when we were visiting them a few months ago and sitting there waiting for the diarrhea was absolute torture. At least they live in a really rural area so I just took the dog back into the woods to do his business and then I didn't need to deal with picking it up when he was done since it was right next to a whole bunch of deer poop. Hope she gets it over with quickly and makes it into the litter box.
Anyone else here a Game of Thrones fan? April can't come soon enough!!
Me me me! We watched the first few seasons in the weeks leading up to the most recent season and its been so hard actually having to wait for new episodes!
I also can't wait for GoT to come back on. I have many theories of what is happening. We will have to have a weekly GoT thred once it starts back up. I'm also excited for this Sunday. TWD baby!
ETA: all I want to eat for dinner is cereal and ice cream...but my husband is going to make me eat an actual dinner I should be thankful because he'll make it and clean it up and it'll be a nice actual dinner....but I just want to eat cereal!
Anyone else watch Grey's tonight?? I'm obsessed, finished every single season on Netflix in about 5 weeks....I finished last week....Talk about binging...

Random political question: Which candidates are calling for better maternity leave benefits in the US?
