Facebook page?

i used the search and nothing came up so, if this had been discussed, forgive me.
Has anyone here started a Facebook page for us moms due October 2016? I don't get on the bump app a lot but I am in a group for June 15 and we are all really close and it's so awesome to be a part of a community like we are.
Anyways, just a thought..

I haven't found one either. I was in a May 2016 one before my loss and really enjoyed it. But I don't think they're real popular around here, so this might be the place to ask. Or that was my experience on the May BMB anyway...

Too early. You can start one, but I personally won't join one until after we have our babies and I've spent some time vetting all you crazy ladies. Internet security is real.

I feel like I would be more open to discussing one a little later on in our pregnancies. I mean we still have mommas joining us and haven't even really 'gotten into the groove' of things here yet.

It seems so early, and might I add not necessarily as safe - not that anything is 100% safe.

*eta* I vaguely remember a horror story from I think the June 13 board of some people being stalked or something similar via their fb group by a members husband...

I'm another too early person here. We created one for the May 2012 babies and I love it. We've all made some long lasting friendships. I think we need some time yet though. GTK each other a bit more, weed out the cray, make sure pregnancies are still going well... Etc etc

This. Exactly this.

We had a horror stories. Like a real one. fake adoptions, money sent, real adoptions turned into child abuse, lawsuits... and then of course, the "unlady like" disagreements that split boards. bitches be crazy!

It's wayyyy too early. We started our last one when most were around 6m I think..and some thought that was too early and didn't join until later, but I was glad I joined it then.

I'm all for it when the time is right. I'm in one for my DD and it has been wonderful. We started ours around 6-7 months of pregnancy and by then the loonies were gone and it has been quite peaceful. But when it does happen for this group, I'm in if you'll all have me!

Good points! I just never get on the app so I feel like I don't contribute as much as I'd like to. I agree with weeding out the crazies. I just lilove my June mamas so much. We started out when we were all about three or four months pregnant and we went through our fair share of crazies, etc but we finally got settled in. I'd be down to join a Facebook group when one is made!

@kristaB1989 I'm not on here much either. Fb is much easier for me, that's why I like Fb groups. I joined my last one around 6 weeks and it was already hopping. It helped keep me sane during those early weeks of waiting and hoping everything is ok.

I don't know if it's easier, but I make shortcuts on my home screen (iPhone) to this page, and to me it's way easier than going through the app.

One my last BMB they did one really early and it was all the crazies. We waited until after the babies were here and moved over by invite so we knew the people going over well. I wouldn't go now, too many catfish.

I would love to have a Facebook group eventually! I don't get on mobile as much. But I am finally getting a laptop soon. Mine has been broken for ages. So I will probably get on more.

Also in camp Too Early. Let's build up the community a bit first. There have been instances of doxxing on other boards in response to disagreements, and I am just not willing to open myself up to that.

I would love to do this if you could tell me how. I hate the bump app and i'm not on a computer much so i don't get to participate as much as i would like to.

With that said, I would love to join a fb group, but a bit later into our pregnancies.

Anywho, not to beat a dead horse but we didn't start the D14 FB page until... maybe 7 months? No offense, but for all I know you all are BSC (or maybe I am). Let's hang out here and get to know one another before we decide to take that next step.
