Maternity Bra Recommendation for Larger Busted Ladies

Does anyone have a recommendation for a larger busted maternity bra? I'm talking 34G or so.  I'm not looking for something cute, I want something comfortable and supportive!

I'm also wondering if I should buy a nursing bra, but I have no idea what size I'll be when the milk comes in. I've already gone up two cup sizes. I'm terrified of what size I'll be at the end! Any suggestions?

  • I'm not quite that big, (38E)but I have heard great things about bravado nursing bras. I honestly  just lived in sports  bras for most of my pregnancy and nursing, because they had a bit more give to adjust to my ever  changing size.

  • Go to Nordstrom and buy one. That's what I did when I was a 34GG with my last kid. And what I plan on doing again. I'd wait till second tri at least. They will continue to grow. I'm a 32DDD before pregnancy.

  • @alysie89 At my size, sports bras come in cup sizes, so there's not much give. Standard frog bras won't work for me because they don't fit around my rib cage. I have to size up so much to get it to fit in the cup that they slide up in the back.

@artcheeseThanks for the reccomendation on Nordstrom's! But no way can I wait until second tri! I literally cannot breathe in the bra I'm wearing that was big on me just last week. I also gain weight in my bust, so I imagine I will go through a number of sizes throughout the pregnancy.

  • @von1976  my mom was a 38DDD before she had her first child, after her 3 (and last) she was a 40 II/J (depending on the brand).  Apparently they never really go back to normal size.
I'm fairly large and i shop at AdoreMe.com, they just came out with nursing bras in sizes up to like 42/44 ddd/g something like that.

I wish all us big busted ladies luck and remember that if being very large breasted for the rest of your life isn't your deal, many insurance companies will cover breast reduction if your boobs are causing you back pain.
