  • I expect DH to get up and help with LO once a night even though he works more than 8hrs a day.
  • @theliops I know everybody is different, but i know what you mean. For me, I'd much rather deal with all of the diaper bag packing and toting kids around than be stuck in the house all day! I feel like I start to go crazy around 10am!

  • @BelleZBoo ME TOO!!!! I eat the top first to get it over with. I love the cakey texture! You are the only person besides me who feels this way!
  • @Theliops this. I was apprehensive to drive the first few times, but i figured i haven't been in an accident yet so i likely won't anytime soon. Little girl even went grocery shopping with me and slept in the babh bjorn. I'd go crazy stuck in the house all the time!
  • I hate election time. People say it's SO important to vote but what if you hate them all?! I'm not going to vote if I hate everyone. Sorry.
  • @Grace213 I'm very interested in politics, but you're right. If you can't get behind any ofntjr candidates why vote? It's like when people tell me voting third party is a waste of my vote. Yea and so is voting for a candidate who I think is detrimental to the American way.

... But I know a couple FTMs who are basically in my exact situation - have their own vehicle, live in a big city, husband works, their baby is pretty chill, but they only have one baby and they bitch about how they can't leave the house because it's "so much work." Please.  :(
My guess is that there's an underlying issue and the "work" is the excuse… I'm fine now and go out all the time, but to start I was terrified of things like positional  exphixiation...  Anxiety just gets the better of us sometimes.

I might get flamed and this totally sounds like a humblebrag but...

I don't get the whole "it's too hard/scary to leave the house with my baby" from FTMs. I understand if you don't drive, or the germs thing, but if you want to go out to get groceries or to the mall then go do it. I have twins and you better believe I get them packed in their car seats and into the double stroller to go get groceries and run errands. By myself because husband works. It's not THAT hard. I'm not a superwoman so if I can do it, others can with just one baby.

Granted every baby and situation is different and I get that some babies don't like their car seats or they live far away from stores or some other complication. But I know a couple FTMs who are basically in my exact situation - have their own vehicle, live in a big city, husband works, their baby is pretty chill, but they only have one baby and they bitch about how they can't leave the house because it's "so much work." Please.  :(
With my first I had a colicky baby and PPA. Leaving the house as a FTM was incredibly hard for me.
