What's new with baby? Getting better at breathing, swallowing and keeping his eyes open
Appointments? Thursday 2/11
Any new preparations for baby? Nursery is DONE. All we will need to do is somehow find space to put stuff away from the showers this coming weekend and wash and put away whatever clothes we receive.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: My body hates me. Craving all of the sugar. Low-no movement scares.

My lower back is becoming more and more bothersome every day. I was pretty much done yesterday by noon after starting some mild cleaning around 9 am. And to make matters worse, because I have been fairly stoic and un-complainy thus far, DH doesn't really "believe" that I am hurting so bad, for lack of a better term. I mean, I don't think he doesn't really believe me, but I can tell he definitely thinks I am milking the pain so I can do less. Someone people tell this TW that I am 8.5 months pregnant!

Weeks/Size: Because I'm bored so I'll fill it out today for Thursday: 37 weeks, the size of a winter melon. I have just 24 days left and it had better be LESS!

What's new with baby? Baby is practicing breathing, sucking, and blinking, and getting ready for his first poopy diaper (ew!)
Appointments? 2/9, 2/17, 2/24, and 3/2- my last 4 appointments scheduled.
Any new preparations for baby? Nope- I'm ready for my little man to be here NOW!!!!!
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: My pelvis still hurts although not as bad as usual, my bladder feels like its about to explode, I have diarrhea, stuffy nose, and aches- like I've got the flu. My biggest craving right now is SHRIMP!!! I'll take it any way I can get it!

- I am soo effing miserable! I got no sleep again last night, thanks to everyone else (can we say I have a lot of self-pity going on and no one to listen to me? lol). Dog wanted out at 11:30 after I had just let him out a couple hours before, but he decided to bark at the neighbors instead of doing his business. Then by midnight I had to go to the bathroom. Then hubby- who usually gets home around 2- came home at 12:30 since the superbowl was over, and talked my ear off for 45 minutes, until I heard a big splatter and raced to find my kid had power-puked all over the bathroom. So I have to clean that up, meanwhile I have to pee again, and DH came in to help, but didn't do much- and went back to bed and FELL ASLEEP! When I finally got everything clean and went to bed, I was tossing and turning. DH in the same breath managed to snore and say "I'm sorry" at the same time. Eff you dude! I fell asleep by 3, only to wake up at 4 and 4:45 to pee again, and my alarm went off at 5:45. So I get up and try to get myself ready for the day, only to find myself racing to the bathroom again- this time I've got the diarrhea. And it irritates me that my husband can't get up to help ME, when I'm stuck in the bathroom and the timer is going off in the kitchen for the lunch I was making, so its sitting in the oven burning and I can't get up to do a thing about it. I'm at that point where everything DH does (or doesn't do for that matter) just irritates the shit out of me. Since I'm at work and can't gif much- I feel like Rachel in friends asking Ross "How are you going to irritate me today?"

Any new preparations for baby? Was thrown two diaper showers (one from DH's work, one from mine), fully diaper stocked! DH is slaving away at DS1's new bedroom to get it finished before this LO decides to arrive.
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Went grocery shopping today. Absolute mistake (besides the aches and pains). I bought some insane food: bologna, cinnamon waffles, chocolate pudding...

GTKY: Since third trimester pains are probably hitting everyone now, lets vent out our symptoms! Yup, do it again since third trimester is just hard: Getting ouchies now, not just BH. Tight pains in lower back, light cramping in the front, and worsening sciatic despite getting adjusted by the chiro last Tuesday. I'm just going day to day now... The OB was really surprised I was already dilated to a 3 on Friday, so I'm hoping to just make it til the weekend. The heartburn is so awful, no sleep, and don't even think about rolling over in bed. Good lord, I feel like a sloth.

What's new with baby? Baby is starting to gain about 1/2lb every week now (meaning mommy too...)

Any new preparations for baby? Finally found a friend who's expecting a girl so I can clean out DD's old clothes and make room for DS' clothes!
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: My back is very sore and I just can't find a comfortable position to sleep at night. I know I'm not supposed to but sleeping on my back actually feels good sometimes so I just do it anyway.
GTKY: I don't get why DH doesn't understand just by looking at my tummy alone that it's hard for me to move around. "NO I can't get up from the floor (I'm entertaining DD) so why don't you get your lazy butt off the couch, stop starring at your phone, grab a tissue and wipe your daughter's nose!" and "YES pull me up when you have a chance!"

What's new with baby? He's still quite active but his bones are hardening, he's keeping his eyes open when awake and lots of brain development going on!

Any new preparations for baby? DH and I used up almost all of our gift cards this past weekend and bought the travel system, a baby bath, monitor, extra crib sheets, changing pad and a bumbo seat! We are all set now!
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Back pain, restless legs and heartburn. Still love feeling him kick, even though it's a little uncomfortable at time.

Restless legs are definitely still the worse, not enjoying the struggling required to put on my socks and shoes and just feeling tired all of the time.

Any new preparations for baby? We move in 2 days! (HAPPY DANCING) Mom will be here 2/14 to help set up our new apartment and help prep for baby, can't wait! Also my dad will be here to drop off furniture 2/15. Parents have been divorced for almost 10 years so should be an interesting day! LOL!
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: All the food. All of it. I often over order. Hip pain. Back pain. Heartburn. Nausea. Read more below. Also I hate not being able to help move, I am not going to enjoy sitting back while everyone else does all the work. Grr.
Questions? Any other bartender/waitress moms out there? FTMs or STMs? STMs when did you stop working? FTMs when are you planning on stopping? Any tips? I'm getting so uncomfortable.

My everything hurts and every week at work gets harder and harder, especially since I work with a bunch of young women most of whom have never had children and are very catty and unsympathetic. Sleeping is hard. SO has to put on my socks and shoes. I slipped on ice yesterday. I could go on and on and I still have 6 weeks. I'll stop complaining now.

What's new with baby? Just putting on fat and making mom uncomfortable
Appointments? Had one Monday, not dilated but 50% effaced so I guess that's good. Next appointment is next Wednesday the 17th.
Any new preparations for baby? Rearranged the master so the bassinet is closer to the bed. Got all of the bath stuff in the bathroom. Sterilized the bottles and have everything in its place. So I think we are there, but are you ever fully ready for baby?
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: Still have too much of a sweet tooth. I discovered mini eggs in the store this past weekend and they've been my chocolate fix the last few days...

DH has become paranoid about them and keeps telling me to relax. Yes I know that sounds great to some but our house needs cleaning before LO arrives and he certainly will not be doing the cleaning. He is also now paranoid about having sex because he doesn't want the LO to come out covered in sperm... My feet are still swelling every night, I am struggling walking up stairs as baby is getting lower, and I am just generally feeling large and uncomfortable - I swear my belly has grown exponentially the last few days and I didn't think I could get any larger. This baby can come meet mom and dad any day now - I am ready to know if ninja is a DS or DD!

Appointments? Today was my Group Strep B Test and a checkup.
Any new preparations for baby? DH is doing baseboards and kitchen back splash to finish our house. Sunday afternoon we're going to a children's consignment event to buy needed things!
Symptoms/Rants/Raves/Cravings: I'm terrified this baby will come early when I'm definitely not ready. DD still has no name, and I don't know where we'll live after the hospital. I want to be in my own house instead of upstairs at my ILs, but I think I'd take just knowing for sure where so I can finish getting everything ready.

I asked my OB about this today, and he said it wasn't anything to worry about. But, tmi train coming through, for the past 5-6 nights, my stomach has been a wreck: cramps (front or back), the poops, lots of BH, or else just plain discomfort (usually only one symptom per night). I guess I'm just warming up for Delivery Day. I want my body to be practicing for labor because I definitely want to avoid an induction this round, but I'm also trying to make sure no real labor stuff is popping up early.
Also, tonight I haven't been able to sit or stand comfortably without BH or DD pushing out. I drank a bottle of water, but that didn't help. Lying down has been the best remedy for this, but I can't do that in public or while getting DS ready for bed.
