How many weeks are you? Fruit/Vegetable/other? 21 weeks, pomegranate... are pomegranates really 10.5 inches long? That seems rather large...

How are you feeling? Energized! In-laws are coming into town Friday night. I cleaned almost every floor in the house this weekend and it felt great. It'll be a mess again by Friday... two kids, two dogs, enough said.
Rants/Raves? Rave - still finding some great deals on used clothes online I'm pretty excited about. Also, hopefully getting my boys a big playhouse for the backyard for $20 this weekend. Love me some yard sales!

Appointment news/updates: Nothing going on for 3 weeks. A/S was Wednesday and everything was perfect. She is still a girl, what a relief (see clothes purchasing above!)

GTKY: How many pets do you have? Two dogs. One guinea pig who is on her last stretch of life.

How are you feeling? Rants/Raves?
I'm extremely tired for completely not baby related reasons - my cat won't stop throwing up! He had an appointment yesterday to go to the vet and bit my husband while he was trying to get him in the cage! He immediately went to urgent care and is on three different antibiotics. The cat kept me awake all night throwing up under the bed but I wasn't going to try and fish him out to put him in the bathroom and risk being bitten myself. We're going to try and take him again tomorrow and I have some serious cleaning to do during nap time today. My rave is that at least it's beautiful outside - low 80s! But I have no idea where to buy some nice maternity shorts.

Appointment news/updates: Vet tomorrow and Doctor appointment in 2 weeks.

GTKY: How many pets do you have? 2 cats. One is all white and the other is black and brown so pretty much no surface is safe! (Sorry for the animal theme today!)

How many weeks are you? Fruit/Vegetable/other? 24 weeks! Size of a cantaloupe

How are you feeling? Rants/Raves? Good baby-wise besides being sick. This congestion/coughing can stop any time now. Heartburn has also been pretty bad, but I'm just getting used to that.

Appointment news/updates: Nothing.. I don't go back in until next week which is also my glucose test. Then scheduled the 28 week ultrasound to check the baby's cysts for March.

GTKY: How many pets do you have? None.. I always joke with DH if traffic is really bad on the way to work, I'll just get off the freeway and go to the Humane Society. We've always wanted a dog, but with a 1.5 year old and another one on the way, we're just waiting until the kids are a little older.

@BPaisley - nice work cleaning all the floors! I feel the same way about cleaning. I cleaned so many times this weekend (mainly the kitchen and the family room) and I swear anytime I turned around it was a mess again.
@likeabel - so sorry to hear about your sick cat! Hope he feels better soon!

@BPaisley Can I have some of your energy? It took me all day Saturday just to clean two rooms. Ugh.

@tjenkens528 If we didn't already have pets before DD1 was born I would do the same thing. Pets become a major PITA when you have young kids/babies. You're smart for waiting.

Tired again. I can't sleep very good. My back hurts. My rave is probably a little TMI but my digestive system seems to be back in shape and I feel SOO much better in that regard.

Appointment news/updates:
Nothing new. My next appt is the 23rd and I still need to go due my glucose test and rhogam shot. I'm dreading both so I'm clearly putting it off.

GTKY: How many pets do you have?
We have two dogs. Both were rescued. A pit bull (sweetest, most obedient dog I've ever met) and a Boston Terrior (who is completely blind and is a little more of a PITA but DD1 is in love with him).

How many weeks are you? 20wks4d Fruit/Vegetable/other? I believe the last notification said banana.

How are you feeling? I'm actually feeling great! I feel like I finally have a noticeable little bump which is wonderful! The baby's movement is getting stronger and I love the feeling! Everytime I feel her it is like I'm getting a present for the day and anticipate the next time I will feel her :-)

Rants/Raves? I never realized what a pain it would be to register! I guess some people like doing that but it's just not my thing! Thank goodness for the internet and registering from home. Gas & heartburn suck. When they appear boy do they appear. Sunday gas pains were painful :-(

Appointment news/updates: Detailed ultrasound on the 22nd, my appointment yesterday went great. Healthy heartbeat and looking ok!

GTKY: How many pets do you have? Two, Miss Rose- a white boxer we adopted & Walter- our toto looking mutt we rescued from the shelter.

How are you feeling? Rants/Raves? Other then tired, pretty good.

Appointment news/updates: I went an apt last week, and I found out sometimes they can't see the heart structure good till week 23 so I have another a/s this week. My third one, and while I love getting to see my little guy I just want the ok that everything is good.

GTKY: How many pets do you have? Sadly none. DH is allergic. My cats that I had before we got together almost nine years ago live with my Mom. I miss the kitties, but when I'm over her house I visit them.

How are you feeling? Rants/Raves? Exhausted. Couldn't sleep for a few nights and I haven't recovered. Suddenly paranoid about feeling movement even though I know I don't feel baby consistently yet.

Appointment news/updates: have a consult with my OB next week to discuss my plan to have a VBAC.

GTKY: How many pets do you have? One cat. And I agree that pets after kids is totally a PITA!!! If it wasn't morally wrong to get rid of a pet for no reason, I'd totally re-home her. I'm kidding (well, 99% kidding), but after my cat dies of old age, we will not be getting another one. I don't want to clean up after another being's feces unless I am biologically related to them. But I do love that furball

@tjenkins528 Thanks! Yeah, I've been vacuuming like every night. Between one major shedding dog and the kids, I'll probably be doing it every night or the in-laws won't even be able to tell that I cleaned at all!

@millermama13 - if it makes you feel any better, we have a pretty average sized townhouse, so cleaning most of the floors doesn't actually involve that many rooms, either! I only just scrubbed the master bedroom floor last night because my son's diaper decided to explode poop everywhere, which I was totally unaware of until I was undressing him for bath time. Oops. Gross!

I was waiting until I got him back to update but.... He's getting some emergency surgery right now to remove an "impressive amount" of hair ties from his stomach! Eeek! They took some X-rays at the vet and his stomach is completely full! I had to then take him to an emergency surgery facility where the doctor said "I don't think you'll beat our record of about 80 hair ties but I think you'll be on the higher end!" I was cleaning my room when I got home and found a hair tie in some puke that I haven't purchased in years. So there must be YEARS of hair ties in there.

Ugh stupid cat!!!!

Okay! He's out of surgery and doing great! He should be able to come home in about an hour. They found several hair ties, a head band, lots of ribbon, several pieces of plastic and some fabric/string. They were able to get everything but one piece of string that already moved into his intestine but they believe it should pass on it's own and won't require open surgery. The string could kink his intestine but that should happen in the next few days so I'll need to keep an eye on him.

I threw away all but one hair tie and haven't put ribbon on a present in over two years so hopefully this doesn't happen again in the future!

@likeabel oh my gosh! Your cat is like a walking garbage can! lol I had cats growing up and they threw up hair balls a lot, but I never had them eat such strange items! Glad he's doing better.

Thanks everyone! He finally started eating a little which is a relief (cause I was going to have to take him back tonight for another ultrasound). They gave me a bag with all the contents and it was actually 7 elastic head bands! The bag was 1.2 ounces and that didn't include all the hair they threw out!
