Anybody else starting to worry about the possibility of twins? I am a twin, I have twin little brothers, I have twins (fraternal AND identical) all over on both sides of my family, it does NOT skip a generation by the way, and now I'm beginning to wonder if I'll dodge that bullet this go around!
Any mom's of multiples out there? Did you "just know" or was it a surprise?

Want to hear something terrifying? Lol DH's friend is an identical twin. They had 1 child, then a set of twins and now they're pregnant AGAIN with twins! I don't think they were TTC this last pregnancy either. All under the age of 5. The twins are only 6 months.
*trigger warning*
My mom m/c twins at like 5 weeks, so I feel like there's always that. My dad's cousin had twins. But that's about it for our family. Definitely have twin paranoia though because I feel my symptoms are possibly worse this time, and I'm overanalyzing everything. It would be a CRAZY ride, but I've always thought it would be kinda cool to have twins.

@kmolleltz - LOL. My DH really wants twins too. He keeps making comments like, "Take care of the 3 of you" when I leave for work. And I'm totally with @PrimRoseMama - I keep telling him, "You're not the one that would have to carry two babies inside of your body!" When we were doing fertility treatments (which is a higher risk for multiples), DH would always get excited about the possibility. This was a natural BFP, so our chances are less. My mom is an identical twin. I've always heard that it's fraternal twins that are genetic though, not identical. So theoretically, the likelihood of me having twins would be the same as someone with no history of twins in their family.
I would definitely freak out if it were twins. Paying for one baby is going to be plenty (I was shocked to learn how much day cares are!). Obviously, I will be so grateful, but it will take me some time to get used to...

I think his thing is mostly cultural. Here in Tanzania, often the mother is left with the child(ren) and the father's role is limited, esp in the first year or two. Essentially he's worried I'm going to "hog" the baby and he won't get any time with them... hahah
*Loss mentioned*
I've had 3 losses and this will be my last pregnancy regardless of what happens, so I would be thrilled with twins. But I think I'd still prefer just one. Lol
Ourfriends keep joking it is twins with us. Since this is baby number 3....I hope not!
