Anyone in our group get migraines? How are you managing them/what advice has your doc given you?
I get them frequently, and was on a daily preventative (Topomax) which my doctor asked me to stop before TTC. I can manage my migraines well with triptans (Relpax) but my OB asked me to stop taking. I've gotten one a week for the last month, and Tylenol doesn't come close to helping. I am headed in to the neurologist on Friday to talk about other options I can try. Not sure how I will survive till September with just Tylenol. ![]()

Wow, I've never heard of that. *off to google* I'll definitely bring that up at my next appointment, thank you for the recommendation.
I always forget about peppermint oil. I will have to try this next time.

I've also found that a can of Coke with the Tylenol can sometimes help. It's still brutal though. I had the best relief when I saw a chiropractor and massage therapist through my first and second pregnancies. I was able to go during my lunch hour, but now that I'm a stay at home mom, I just don't know how I can swing appts with my two girls.
I really miss my migraine meds. It's so hard to function when one hits.
