I was nervous as my husband went away overnight leaving me to look after her myself for the first time (I'm pathetic, I know).
However:
Cluster feeding has reduced and shifted to daytime, she went all night with her new more absorbent cloth nappy, and went 4 hours without needing a feed. Then she woke up with huge smiles long enough for me to video and send to Dad.
I don't even care that I'm covered in breast milk from head to toe or that my nipples are on fire again.
I finally tried out my Boba wrap and LO loves it! He falls right asleep, giving me time to actually do things and keep him close! Also Lactation Consultant was super pleased with our progress, our hard work has paid off!
I figured out my wrap today too woot woot !! I just need to find a good time to put her in it so I don't get puked on. Side note , baby had a rediculiusly long nap allowing me a mini work out , a shower , and some time to clean. Score!
Weighed myself at the midwife's today and down 20lbs!! Still a ways to go as I wasn't super thrilled with me pre-pregnancy weight but I'll take it as a win! Also, Lucy slept through an entire sushi lunch today giving me enough time to actually finish a meal.
Hmm...guess it's her I can thank for the 20lb weight loss after birth.
I went to the grocery store by myself with the kids without a wingman. I even managed to finish a side trip to the diaper store and Joann's. Totally winning today!
