Hey all, my LO is four months old and has started trying to chew on everything. The only problem is that she doesn't have the best hand coordination yet and all the teethers we have are kind of heavy and bulky and she has trouble manipulating them and getting them into her mouth. Any of you have suggestions on teethers that she could hold a little better? We have the best luck with Sophie because she's got lots of long parts (legs and neck) and she can usually get something into her mouth, but she still ends up getting frustrated with that.
Re: Teethers for young baby?
the Nuby teething blankie. The rattle has a very thin handle, which is perfect. The blankie is basically a glorified potholder (lol) – it doesn't drop like other toys do. It sits on her chest if she lets go, and she can easily grip the sides.

I was also considering getting the baby banana because it seems like the type of easy to grip shape that she can grip in the same way she grips fingers.
