Positive then Negative FRER??

Yesterday's test mid day versus FMU today.  Scared that today's is actually negative. Can't tell where it's negative or an evap line.  Anyone ever had this happen?  Were you truly pregnant and did the pregnancy hold or was it a chemical?  Scared to death as this is after IVF and 2 prior losses.  Will retest later this morning.

    Hugs! I see it faintly on the bottom, and top is most definitely a good strong line. This happened to me, but with cheap tests, not FRER. Let us know how the other test goes! Definitely not out yet. FX!

    First let me say that I am sorry you are having a hard time right now. Now, regarding your post:

    1. It's against the TOU to post pictures of your pee sticks. Please remove it. It will not go over well. 

    2.Curved handle FRERs are notorious for weird results. Use the search function to learn more about it. 

    3. Fainter lines happen for a variety of reasons. When in doubt, take a digital.

    I can't see the photo anymore but I'm sorry you are getting mixed results. :(  Two things about the hpt that might be encouraging:
    1. The first test has had an entire day to get darker while it sits and the one you took today hasn't had much time at all.  Maybe check the tests in a few hours to see?  It's hard not seeing the tests to really get an idea of how much lighter the second one is.
    2. I took a FRER last week to see if it was getting darker and the line was hardly even there.  I totally thought the pregnancy was heading south and was pretty bummed out.  I then took another in the afternoon just to see if it was a bunk test and sure enough, the second one was totally darker!  I guess there can be bad FRER tests, I think they are making them cheaper these days than they used to or something.

    @LilHobbit can you PM me the photo? I have had experience with early evaps on FRER curved handles. I can look at the test for you. Basically, if it doesn't looking like a glaring positive then it most likely isn't. Try veriquick from the Dollar Tree. Also, are you charting your temps? because if you don't know when you ovulated then you don't know when your period is due. So, you could be testing too early.

    I have never had good luck with FRER.  Sometimes they wouldn't even give me the control line after submerging the whole end in a cup of my pee for 5-10 seconds.  That brand isn't the best in my experience but I am in the minority on that opinion I believe.  Keep your head up we're all rooting for you!

    Hi, lurker here, but jumping in because I had a similar experience. I got a super squinter (barely visible at all) with SMU on Friday on FRER. I tested that evening and got a still light but definite BFP on another FRER. The next morning with FMU I got two more super squinters on FRERs, but was able to turn a digital and a ClearBlue. I would definitely suggest trying a different brand tomorrow morning or getting a digital. FX for you!

    Honestly  the only for sure way to know is wait a few days to take another or go to a doctor. Hormone levels usually double in 48 to 72hrs in early pregnancy. That can make  tests much clearer. 
    Also on  the 1st trimester board there is a thread that you can post pregnancy test pics on to get feedback.
    I hope everything  works out positively  for you.
