Getting LO to nap

I started to track the number of hours that LO sleeps in one day since he was going 3-4 hours between naps during the day. Turns out he's only getting about 10-11 hours of sleep in one day, but I read that he should be getting around 14-16 hours.  I am EB so he spends A LOT of awake time nursing, but I'm not sure what else I should/could be doing to get LO to sleep more.  I have better luck if I nap with him but LO honestly just seems to like to be more active during the day.  Any suggestions on how I can get LO to nap more?

  • Wrap that baby! I have a monkeywear wrap (similar to Moby) and my baby girl falls asleep within minutes when she's in it. Plus you will have your hands free to do whatever you want, and you can BF without taking it off.
