This is the one that a SIL told me I should get. She hadn't used it personally but said firm is super important and foam mattresses are good.
I was about to order and read the reviews, a lot of them were complaints about the crib sheets compressing the mattress down, leaving too big of a gap between the mattress and the crib. Have you had this issue at all with any of the sheets you have used?
We have the same mattress for both boys and love it. It's held up well with DS1 over the last 3+years. I am interested in the airflow mattress that I've seen advertised, but it's $435! I don't know enough about it to justify that money.
The one I purchased is firm on one side and softer on the other if you want to use it for a toddler mattress. It's a Simmons and was a pretty good price. I honestly couldn't tell you exactly but I think it has coils and foam in it.
Just read budget babies on this tonight. They say it doesn't matter as long as you get a good firm one so since they're cheaper go with foam. I don't remember the specific one they recommended but could look it up later. Also make sure it's waterproof or that you get a waterproof cover, 2008 study showed that to be safer, they don't really know why though.

Nope, no issues. The crib is a Graco Lauren if that makes a difference.
DS 9/2/13 was a BFP from an IUI! Triplets due 6/29/16 also from an IUI!

We got one like this, too! Look for one that will last you a while since toddler beds are the same size matress

This sounds like the two I have. I liked it for DS1 so we bought the same one for DS2.

Baby #2 Due 3/7/20
There is a Sealy one at Walmart that is supposed to be firm, and green certified for less chemicals around baby.
