Period pain

ive gotten my period for 2 months now while on the pill and both months I've had under the rib pain during my period. The first month I went to the doctor but also had a cough so they thought it was that. But clearly it's not.Anyone maybe have any idea? I'm calling the doc again monday

    I've had rib pain also, but not just whIle on my period. I know your ribs spread during pregnancy, so I'd imagine it's just getting back to normal size.

    Yeah I hope that's what's going on. I have a call into my doctor but I'm now getting pain on my right side just above my hip
