Any LA Moms here?

I'm moving to Los Angeles on Tuesday, and while I do have family in the area, I don't really have any friends (some old acquaintances, but nothing I'm itching to rekindle). Is anyone else here local? And perhaps a first time Mommy as well?  :)

    I'm in east LA county, border Orange County so not exactly close to LA. But welcome to SoCal!!

    I'm from woodland hills (the San Fernando valley) in LA.  I'm living in Chicago right now but am moving back to LA in July :-)

    Thanks! I'm originally from Cali but haven't lived there since I was maybe 6 (20 years ago, yikes). My entire family for the most part is out West, so I can't wait to be back! I'm out in Boston currently and a huge snowstorm is supposed to hit tomorrow...I hope the movers and people who are picking up my car can handle things :( I don't want to prolong this move any more! My husband is already out in LA waiting for me :(
